i really like kroger as a grocery store and their products. but the checkout process is horrible. i will not use self check out if i have produce to be weighed or have a full cart of groceries. of my last 3 visits 1 time there was 0 cashiers, 1 time there was only 1 cashier lane open with a 25 min wait, the 3rd time 1 cashier lane was a 35 minute wait. so i go to walmart, food lion or aldi for all MY GROCERIES. I ONLY GO TO KROGER FOR THE 3 ITEMS THAT I CAN ONLY FIND AT KROGER. IF THERE WERE MORE CASHIERS I WOULD BUY AT LEAST 50% OF MY GROCERIES THERE.

Kroger on Arch Avenue has been a stable on the east side of the City of Waynesboro for many many years. Recently, it seems they have done subtle changes to the store and layout. There is a great amount of parking along with a small gas and convenience store in the parking lot. I do think they could use more employees on the the floor but there a couple employees that have been here for years and always available if you need help. Anytime, I'm on this side of town, I use this Krogers.

Pickup at this store has become obnoxious. Items are marked as out of stock or aren't substituted when they are available in the store. Coupons can't be taken off the order because 25% of the order can be missing when it's right there in stock in the store. I've been given moldy bread and have found expired products on the shelves. Please don't shop here.

This is not the nicest grocery I have ever been to, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in convince and price. This is the closest grocery for a lot of people in the poorer side of town and while some may be quick to dismiss this location for that reason, I think it is preforming an incredibly valuable service.

The Kroger pharmacy has the rudest people I have ever met an any pharmacy in this area. They only want to get you out of the store, zero customer service. Find another pharmacy that will treat you with respect, not like these nasty woman in this pharmacy! TERRIBLE attitude, don't shop here, there are certainly better pharmacies in this area that will in fact treat you right. This is not a business you want to spend your hard earn money at, buy elsewhere or you will like regret it.

Meh. Store hadn't been restocked and its already after 8am. Produce is poorly labeled - expect to be charged for the most expensive version of an item. Staff was unapologetic about the confusion.

Yeah I stopped after my workout at our great gym/fitness across the street..and I was starving n stopped an got a whole rotisserie chicken yum all for myself and 3-meals made out of 1-whole chicken and some icecream on sale that week. So I bought 6-pints of HagenD. Snd had myself a treat for a few days.

I don't understand how you can make a product that tastes just as artificial as the corporate processed counter parts but charge twice as much for half the item count. Doesn't feel or taste like made-in-store, but they sure want you to believe it is.

I've shopped at Kroger for a long time and like the specials they run. Most of the employees are nice. I give this a ONE STAR because of an employee Benny they have working in the seafood section. Who always seems to have a problem. When u ask to have sea food steamed. Even more annoyed when u buy a lot. Hummmm I thought stores WANTED you to buy stuff. I personally bought a home steamer so I wouldn't have to deal with the attitude in the store when I ask for it. This past weekend I was not trying to cook at home. I know some of the shrimp and crawl fish is already cooked. But you have to steam it to re-heat it!!!! When I asked for my food steamed. He told the young boy at the counter to tell me yet again "it's already cooked". He even went as far on previous visit. To tell me it didn't take that long. N how I should go about cooking it at home. Then made me wait forever when he finally did decide to cook it. I don't like to blast anybody but this has ruined me ever buying seafood there again. I've worked customer service jobs in the past. N I would never treat a customer the way he treats people.

There were only two cashiers. One was working on a normal line which stretched LITERALLY to the back of the store. The other was running the self checkout lanes. I had a $300 order and had to use the self checkout. Even the self checkout lanes were ridiculously backed up. It took me an hour to get checked out. I am going to Foodlion next time.
