“I rented a 10x20 storage unit for 1.5 years (2015-2016) with Shields and I cannot say enough good about this company. The initial reason I chose Shields was because they had unbeatable prices. I lived in Charlottesville and didn't mind the short commute to my storage unit to grab things here and there when needed. My storage unit was at the location across from Target in Waynesboro and as a young adult girl I always felt safe going there alone. It is gated and has a sophisticated electronic key pad to get onto the grounds. They also offer an automatic monthly bill deduction so you never have to worry about forgetting to pay your monthly bill. Everyone at Shield's is super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them above any other storage facility. They also give back to the community as evidenced by their generous donation to a golf benefit I was a part of.”

My most recent unit had a light inside, that was always helpful. A few years back we got new garage doors on the unit I was in, I’m glad to see them maintaining the property.
