“The Crimora Dollar General isn’t anything super special!
Just a bunch of low life freaks who hang out there…like us!
Close to us but super great!”
“Family Dollar is a good place to shop, especially if you are on a tight budget. You can find just about everything you need here such as; clothes, groceries, electronics and accessories, cleaning products, paper products, home decor, beauty and personal care products, organizing products, and so much more!”
“PAM Truly makes Family Dollar worth going to! She is so attentive, helpful, and THOUGHTFUL, She helped me find an item then little did I know she spent the next 10 minutes in the other part of the store looking for an even better version of the item I was looking for. This is true customer service. Thank you Pam! ?”
“Good selection of items. Like every dollar tree location, staff numbers are low and there’s usually only 2-3 employees in the store at a time. Despite that, the staff do a good job keeping items stocked, helping customers, and checking out customers.”
“Good Location, Well StockedThe only negative things I can think of is that the store is not organized sometimes, they have stock blocking aisles. Some of the Cashiers are rude to the customers. This last time we a wonderful young man to help us.”
“Very friendly sales associate helped me & checkout associate just as friendly..actually the customers in line with me were too! 25¢ Cmas items including rolls of gift wrap, boxes & assorted size gift bags, money cards & more! Stock up for next Cmas!”
“Happened across these reviews today, and felt I should give a counterpoint to the odd complaints I see here.
In reading other reviews, some are quite mean. This would be hilarious, if it weren't frequently irrational, and other people didn't use reviews to inform their shopping decisions.
Here's the truth of the DG in Weyers Cave, from someone who averages around one stop per week, as it's quite convenient to my home. Given Weyers Cave has essentially zero retail presence other than DG, I DO NOT want to see this store disappear, especially due to trivial reviews that often miss the mark.
Are the coolers sometimes broken? Yep. This can happen anywhere, but I recognize these coolers were down a long time a while back. In talking with employees (asking, not complaining), they were at the mercy of the repair company. Stuff happens, and people shouldn't be so precious.
Should one go into a dollar store, expecting a personal guide to show them where everything is located? No. This store is not that large, and therefore looking around to see if they have what you want is not difficult. If you want a personal shopper, go elsewhere, and be prepared to pay the additional price baked into goods, in order to pay additional staff. This is a convenience store, not Saks Fifth Avenue.
Are there lines to check out, every now and again? Sure. But, the staff is always clearly trying to complete transactions as quickly as they can, and get people on their way. If there is a delay, the vast majority of the time it's due to someone asking a question about inventory, and disregarding the employee's stress, and the customers who just walked around and found their own goods, and are now waiting to check out.
This is a good store, the employees do a great job working with limited resources, and I've personally witnessed them having to deal with myriad complaints, 99% of which are simply due to an unreasonable customer, with unreasonable expectations.”
