The manager at Chico’s was visibly rude and made racist remarks. I confronted her behavior, after which she quickly changed her tone and began acting overly polite to compensate. But once I detect racism, that’s a line crossed. In my view, racism reflects a complete lack of morals. Please don’t thank me or wish me a good day, you simply do not exist to me, racist manager of Chico’s. If you want to resolve the issue then go ahead and do it you have received enough 1 star feedbacks and reviews.

I felt very unwelcome. Upon entry, the associate asks me if I’m familiar with their sizing and proceeds to say “This is a WOMEN’S shop and we only carry size 4 and above”. I am a grown adult so I’m not sure why she said this. Also I saw clothing in size 2 so that was a dishonest statement. She stared me down until I just left the store because I felt so unwelcome.

Just Awful! I was disrespected when i walked in, i walked in and she looked at me disgusted just because i have curly hair, and she said “excuse me this is a WOMANS shop” while giving me a dirty look. i said yes ik im just trying to shop ma’am, and then she said do you have a CHAPERONE and some spit got on my face, i just said no im an adult ma’am. then she said with disrespect ARE YOU SHOPPING WITH SOMEONE. i said no and left just disrespectful

I had an absolutely horrific experience at the establishment. It all started at around 11 A.M on Wednesday, May 25th, 2023. I was very cold and began looking through store for a hoodie. I entered Chico’s expecting a warm welcome, but I was yelled at the moment I stepped in the door. They told me that “children are not allowed without a chaperone.” Although I was angered by this interaction, I kept calm and smiled. I thanked them and politely saw myself out. I had been walking around still in search of a warming article, and I had forgotten about the situation. I stepped into Chico’s again. They started screaming like absolute banshees, calling me a delinquent and a disrespectful little girl. I calmly left and got an adult to come in with me. I explained that I was simply on the hunt for something to keep me warm. The three women working there started going ballistic and threatened to call the cops. I swiftly pranced away. Never before have I felt so violated. One lady stuck her phone out the window and started taking photos of me. Once again, I kept my cool. I went and found a hoodie. As I walked past I stood in front of Chico’s. One lady sat in the window and glared at me. The other took photos through the window in the door. The door girl opened up. I asked why she took a photo. She tells me she takes a picture of every kid on a school trip that comes through. I was done. I asked her to show me the other photos. She told me that she didn’t have any photos. I called her out on her lie and she then tried to lie AGAIN and said she was taking a picture of the cheese shop (which is not visible from the from of Chico’s) The lady in the window flipped me off and I left. I am furious.

Buyer Beware: there may be a rack that says, "Final Sale", but according to store manager, final sale items are mixed in with all clearance. Most Chico's have it clearly marked not only on the tag, but on a designated rack. So when I tried to exchange an item for another item which happened to cost twice as much the same day of purchase, the manager wouldn't allow it. When I pointed out where that group of identical pants was located (not on Final Sale rack) that's when I was told basically that's too bad. To add salt to the wound, they know me there, it's the only Chico's where I shopped. Very disappointed. Anyway, Buyer, Beware.
