AVOID unless you’re swimming in money like in Ducktales. Horrible prices! Same stuff you see at Goodwill, Plato’s Closet and even in Ross are cheaper than the prices they put on these FRRE DONATED ITEMS! Whomever hired management here should be ashamed. You’d think they were a consignment store or something with these prices.

This place ought to be ashamed of itself. It’s a disgrace To CHKD A small percentage of their money goes to CHKD because they are considered a nonprofit organization, but yet their prices are way beyond new items two pairs of socks children’s socks six dollars something I could buy at Walmart for $.99 children’s shirts four dollars that I can buy at Walmart for cheaper and it’s new this place is a disgrace and anybody supports. It should be ashamed of themselves.

Had my eye on something for about a month and a half, and after being told by a couple different employees that it was likely to be marked down, I went back and it was still 200$. I had been looking online and saw the highest price for the same thing was 400$ with the average price being about 150$ on reselling sites. There was a very nice employee that tried to help me out but the manager ended up getting involved and got nasty for no reason, saying the best they could do was 50$ off because they “know what it’s worth” and they knew it was worth 800$. After reading a similar review saying the managers get a cut, it’s starting to make sense. I really wanted my purchase to benefit sick children but I ended up getting it online for 80$ brand new. Whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way, especially the manager’s attitude and delusional pricing. She even had the nerve to start apologizing to the people behind me for me “holding up the line” and said some other stuff under her breath that I couldn’t make out. I know I didn’t have to get it there either and I could’ve just stuck with online but I figured the money would go towards something good. Also absolutely crazy since they got this item FOR FREE as a donation.

I am an avid thrifter and this thrift store by far is the worst for prices. I really don’t like giving bad reviews but I feel like in this case it serves a purpose. Please do not go to this thrift store it’s a waste of time. Prices as high as $100 for items and they don’t get marked down in an appropriate time. Just not worth it in my opinion.

Typical Thrift store. Maybe a bit better organizer than most but quality of merchandise is limited

Terrible and inconsistent pricing. The kids don’t deserve this

There is a lot of clothing options, but the prices of clothes are ridiculous. I grabbed a shirt and it was $26. For a used, non-designer shirt.

This store……do NOT recommend at all. the prices have been OUTRAGEOUS the last year or so. Managers do get a cut FYI! Makes sense about the price hikes then….
And they still ask you to round up to support the kids…isnt that what I just did by buying your FREE donated items??
One tiny nightstand today for $200. 2 old yellow chairs for $250 EACH!
Even the employee was embarrassed to verify the price for me.

Start off with their employees, super friendly and nice. Went in to find a disposable set if golf clubs to let kids use in field, luckily picked up a set of rusted but usable ones, still overpriced but I was not about to hand over our good set for practice to children. Their PRICES however, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Old dirty Ozark trail and schwinn bicycles priced higher than NEW at Walmart, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A USED STAINED PAIR OF CONVERSE SHOES! Not a classic, collector, or rare pair either just ordinary converse.
Old non supported windows 10 desktop computer, grossly overpriced. Spray painted Xbox TWO HUNDRED dollars! They have serious delusions with the value of used worn and obsolete goods.

Today I met the most nicest, precious soul! Her name is Amy! She has beautiful blues eyes. She made me feel so welcomed in CHKD today. She took the time to tell me about all the great deals. I will never forget her and I plan to make the 40 mile trek just to shop there again!! Thank you so much and I appreciate you dearly. My name is Lisa! 5+++++ stars👍

The store is nice and clean but sizes are not separated so finding clothing in your size is impossible. Same with shoes. This store could make alot more sales if they divided clothing into sizes.

I’m not normally a thrifter, but I’ve been on the hunt for some shelves, cabinets, or just unique furniture for my home. When I walked into CHKD Thrift Store, the first thing I noticed was a set of three kitchen chairs. While chairs weren’t on my list, I had been needing some, and these were perfect! At just $5 a chair, I couldn’t pass them up. One chair had a flaw that could be fixed with glue, and the staff member was so kind she marked it down to only $3 without me even asking.
My son also had a great time looking around and ended up finding a few treasures of his own, including a dinosaur bag for only $0.58. The store was well-organized, clean, and full of great finds. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future furniture or unique home décor hunts!
