Had a problem with my line with an 811 contractor and Missy [manager of 5110 Main St store, Williamsburg] heard my complaint and pointed me in the right direction. Followed her instructions and problem is on the way to getting resolved. Great store, taken care of promptly and efficiently.

I just ordered their service, the modern did not work, a technician visit was scheduled for today between 8 and 10 am. He didn't show up. I will cancel their service the moment I get a chance.

Absolute disaster. Contractor came out to look at installation, missed the first driveway (U shape driveway, just had 1 inch of rain) and decided to drive through the yard/mud tearing up freshly graded yard. He got mad and left. Then took 2 hours, multiple hang ups/recalls to get ahold of someone at Cox where you could understand more than 3 words of English before I was able to get an answer in 30 seconds. Between crappy contractors used and outsources helping, I give it ) stars (if it would allow). Focus on hiring better help, both within and contractors, crap help direct reflection of a crap company.

I was having major issues with Cox connecting internet to my home, I tried the customer service line and kept getting the same results. Missy Prado and her team was able to help me out and got the ball rolling in the right direction. I got the right people to finally come to my house and start solving my problem. Thanks so much!

The fact that there are still internet companies trying to get away with data caps in 2025 is insane. It's robbery, really. Their prices seem okay until you realize you can only use it a limited amount and then the price basically doubles. Most other (better) companies don't do this any more. In fact, it's rare. It's false advertising and happens when your in areas with no other options. These guys aren't competitive or good. Just greedy. If another provider wants to bring fiber out here, please do. Everyone will likely drop this service run by greedy jerks that take advantage of people. You shouldn't have to second think downloading a game or have a panic attack if you accidently left a TV on.

Cox is the worst Internet company I have ever had. When I signed up, I was told I could get $30 a Month. I’m currently paying $50 a month. My service is the worst I have ever had. I have to plug and unplug every day. I called today to be informed that I have to upgrade for additional $20 a month. I told them that I will check my options. They informed me that if you have a camera or if you have Alexa, you need to hire speed Internet. I’ll be checking my options before I pay Cox any more money as a retire, fixed income, senior.
