Unbelievable service. Over the years Cox drove me crazy. I pay all my bills on time nevertheless I would always get texts that either pay this amount or your service will be disconnected. I use their service since 1991 and all these years they would bother me. I used to get upset at times. Today they disconnected the service. I went to their store located at 5110 Main Street in WilliamsburgI wasn’t in the best mood but I left happy because one of the managers, Mr. Carlton finally figured out the problem. Very nice young man. Well mannered and very patient and knows. He put a lot of work into it. He had to go back a couple of years but very pleasantly he reassured me he took care of the problem. The Cox Store is better than any other carriers. A new store providing assistance with accounts and carry the iPhone and other high end phones. All kind of gadgets so don’t bother with Apple Store. They provide better service than Apple.

We signed up for Cox internet this morning, LEAVING Starlink; I sent my husband 35 minutes from our house to this store to pick up the equipment so we could have same day service instead of waiting for it to be shipped. At the store, he provided the order confirmation number, account number, and security PIN, and they wouldn't give him the equipment we paid for because he clearly was not me. He showed the employee his drivers license that matched my last name and service address, but the employee responded with "yeah, but are you [my name]." After calling the 1-800 customer service #, we were told it is an FCC regulation, absolutely understandable, but as BRAND NEW customers, sarcasm isn't a great first impression. Being told, "Have your wife call and add you as an authorized user real quick" OR "It is an FCC regulation the primary account holder has to be here as well" would have been a simple solution, and minus the attitude that has us wondering if switching to Cox is a good decision or not.

Will offer and sell you 2g speed, will even confirm that it is 2gb speed to router, but their technicians will tell you 2g isn’t available. After install their own technician ran a test and it was 1.2. Customer service is a joke as well. Dishonest practices by this company but you really have no choice if in their area.

This place is a joke. - They have the worst Wifi in America and they charge top dollar for it. Their customer service is terrible. - They will pass you around and around to numerous different agents, WHO HAVE NO EARTHLY IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING! - You will have numerous issues with your monthly bill. You will see numerous "One Time Fees" & monthly charges that come up out of no where!Google Fiber is much more cost affective and better to use.As well as Infinity.

This is not about the store, although I've had some negative experiences there it was long ago. This is about Cox.... can't cable just GO AWAY?! No one wants it anymore, the service has always been suspect. It's gotten so bad people are being FORCED to have cable because they're including it in rent AND CHARGING! A service you don't want that we're forced to have. It's communistic at best. To include the boxes constantly don't work, no one has time to deal with this mess. We're good with streaming. Not only is cable not needed and mostly unwanted, it's always a technical problem. It's quite sad and it's time for it to go! NO, Im not calling anyone.. sick of COX!!!!!!!!

Sign in via phone text, called up within 5 minutes, changed out our cable box and asked about updating account. Left 70.00 less a month.

The workers in the store were knowledgeable and friendly. The telephone support from Cox is not as skilled. The person on the phone left out many details on billing etc. It's a shame that the Cox Store workers have to take the brunt of the incompentcy of the telephone support.
