Incredulous how unprofessional this office operates. I had an appointment booked and when I showed up they had decided to double my appointment since another person had not confirmed, obviously in an attempt to make sure the slot was filled even it meant sending someone away. I was the sent to another HR block across town without an appointment (unsurprisingly couldn’t been seen, but the one by Waller Miller was very polite and kind) Humor error is obviously something we all suffer from, but being sent off with no apology and acting like it was normal to say you didn’t have time to help when someone has an appointment was shocking. I would never recommend this branch, especially Maria who was unprofessional and shockingly rude, even though she was the one who had made the error. Even if you have an appointment there is no guarantee they won’t waste your time sending you away. I would recommend the Waller Miller branch instead with Anne.

Mark was the best! Everyone at this location was so incredibly kind. Mark went above and beyond. He explained everything and gave us advice for next years taxes! We will most definitely be back next year.

I am always very happy with the service I get from H&R Block. I have used them consistently every year since 2013 and this year Maria in Williamsburg was my preparer. She did a fantastic job, and I am very thankful for her diligence.

Terrific service, seriously detail oriented, Maria lou was quick, professional, and fixed an incomplete 1099 from my stock company, refiled my last year's federal return, went from $5,000 due to IRS to over $300 due back. Letting her file my taxes from here on out. She went above and beyond what I thought any tax preparer would do.

My experience at H&R Block was wonderful. Staff was friendly. My tax preparer was knowledgeable, efficient and accurate in the preparation of my tax returns. Already have scheduled my return appointment for next year.

My accountant understandably requested I put on my mask, but I feel slighted as none of his coworkers didn’t prompted their customers to do same. I was the only customer walking around the office with a mask, a policy he said that everyone was supposed to abide. Never once have I felt so single-out by a company. I was willing to allow the insult to slide if it had be a highly quality service. It was not. We had issue loading my tax files to their obviously outdated network. Do not use H&R Block until they can get their act and policy together.

This is the worst tax experience I've ever had.Nathalie Bolton, who is the Senior Tax Analyst Office Manager excecised very poor customer service skills. She wasn't available to answer my questions and she failed serveral times to return my phone calls.Totally unacceptable conduct for tax preparers.Nathalie asked me for paper work concerning the unemployment benefits I received. I produced the paper work, attempted to get it to her but once again she was unavailable.When she did receive the info, she didn't call me and let me know what the next step would be, I had to call her. We spoke and she told me she hadn't looked at the info but was gonna do it right now and call me back. She didn't call me back once again and now I have new instructions relayed to me not by her but by one of her co workers. In other words, It's gonna be longer for this process to be completed. Just terrible service.
