I visited this place for a time to spend with my children and for my birthday. The space was very welcoming and clean. The concierge greeted me although they wasn’t aware of the package that I purchased, someone else was able to assist me. When I went to my room, I was pleased by the cleanliness of it and the open space I felt like I was away from the city, which I was looking for the bits were kind of firm but doable. I did find a bug in the room, but that was the only fault there’s plenty of things to do on this resort, including swimming hot tub, mini golf and they have activities for the children. The location is semi out of nowhere so if you want to get away and literally be on a resort that’s outside of the city this is a great spot to visit

We own a time share in Williamsburg but at a different location. We decided to try something different this year. The resort is very nice. It is really out of the way from everything except Water Country USA. No grocery stores or restaurants very near. We stayed in the Townes. The rooms are very large and very comfortable, except the kitchen. Its's basically a hallway. For as much square footage they should have made the kitchen bigger. Be aware that a second floor unit has many steps. The pool was nice, but has no life guard. We are early risers. At our home resort they have 24 hour staff, not here. At 6:45 the two women inside wouldn't let me in because it wasn't 7:00. Other than the few inconveniences this place was very nice.

It's fine as long as you have a car. I flew so I had no food and no way to get places. Uber were a bit costly. If you have car it's a great place to visit.

Great location but the cottages are in serious needs for upgrades. Electrical sockets loose. Yellow red and white cables for tv? What is it 2003? Couldnt hook up the kids rokus. Toaster practically blew up on the first use. The activity center is a joke. The internet? Dont even get me started. Internet cut out daily for hours at a time. (Which drove our toddler crazy) Game room? A sad excuse. Property? Weeds growing everywhere. Staff? Rude! Dont get me started on the sales guy ( taller black dude) extremely rude and unprofessional. We will take our money to Vacation Village. We will never return

Checking was slow because they only had 1 person at the desk and that person kept answering the phone. We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhome. Our unit was attached to another unit. The guests in the other unit were cooking bacon at 6 am which caused all of the smoke detectors to go off and startle us awake. Overall the unit was clean and stocked with the bare minimum for kitchen equipment.

Beautiful beautiful rooms the location was so close to everything. They have 3 pools open late, too. My kids and family loved it here and we would definitely come back if we come back to the area. It was above and beyond what we expected.

The exterior of the resort is very nice. Everything looks well maintained and freshly painted. The rooms are a little bland and could use a update.

2 bed rooms with plenty of space. The area is quiet and there are 3 outdoor pools and one indoor. The fitness room was just barely adequate. The real plus for this resort is the location. It practically borders Water Country and Busch Gardens is maybe 10-15 mins away. Its in the middle of almost everything and an hour from the beach.

We were gifted a stay here by my mom for Christmas. It wasn't great.
Upon checking in, we headed to the cottage we were originally staying at, it was nothing like advertised in the video. I had requested a two bedroom, it was only one. That may have worked, but there wasn't a full kitchen and the TV was above the refrigerator.
I was told that is how the one bedrooms are set up. I explained that there are 3 of us and we need at least two bedrooms, I paid for the upgrade, an extra 1000+. Fine.
The room was fine. Quiet. Not great but quiet. We no longer had a balcony because they moved us to a townhome... fine.
That was Sunday.
On Tuesday my husband found a bug in the bed we had just come in, and I suggested he probably brought it in.
Well Friday night we found another one. Saturday morning I informed the front that we had bed bugs with a picture. The girl went back to tell the manager. The manager never came out to speak with me, which honestly makes me irritated.... it's your job not the poor college girl working the desk. The girl told me they could send maintenance over to spray.... fantastic way to spend our last day.
We packed up early and left.
I asked if we could get our last night refunded because of the issue, we could not because it's a timeshare... even though I paid for the upgrade... no.
I would never stay at another spinnaker resort. And the playground does not look as nice in the picture. It's worn out.
Beware!

Our stay was ok. Definitely a peaceful atmosphere. However center things could've been alot better. We stayed in The Cottages. Upon arriving the place was nice and clean. However we noticed we had to let the water run for a while in order for it to get hot. No dish soap to wash dishes. The toilet was unstable! It rocked back and forth and it sounded like it was flushing every 10 mins. I think the worse part was the bed. Very uncomfortable. It felt like we sleeping on a tone of other blankets. The sheets, blankets and pillows all had a crunchy feel sounding very loud with any movement. We didn't get much sleep at all. Overall it wasn't the best but it was livable for the 3days we stayed.

This was a full-on plantation turned into an air b-n-b. The check-in went horribly wrong. The unit was nice, I was there 9 days and no housekeeping. The amenities didn't work, no sauna, the pool area the bleach was so strong it burned your eyes & throat. They have no transportation on site, and of course, it's a HUGE site with no scooters, no scheduled tours of the grounds, AND in the middle of nowhere! But 100 foot tall trees as far as the eyes can see! You can visualize the enslaved in this colonial state, I'll never return. Check out where this bus stop is!

It's a timeshare place. Speed bumps everywhere.

Beds are as hard as a rock. When you make a reservation you get called & emails to do a 90 minute breakfast or lunch which you know is a time share tour so just say no. You should get your parking pass with your check in & you have to go to the time share desk to get it. We had someone in our unit more than once when we were out without our knowledge & had some stuff taken. We reported it. Bright lights right outside our door so had to deal with bugs when you try to go in at night. Several things wrong in the unit which we reported also.

Unfortunately, I booked a vacation package with Spinnaker Resorts over the phone for this location. Only to later find out that I wouldn’t have a place to stay on property & would be at another hotel. Today I was informed that I would have to pay taxes & fees at the other property. I wasn’t given an exact amount but told they were nonrefundable. None of this was disclosed prior and even in the paperwork the wording doesn’t imply such. As a result I requested a refund and to cancel. Representative refused to give a refund because she said I booked online. I told her I saw the promotion online but I actually booked over the phone. Still refused & still hasn’t sent proof of my cancellation. Highly recommend avoiding this company!
