“Miss Shelly and Miss Deborah were both so good to me today! My doctor’s office had been super confusing and disorganized with faxing over my paperwork, but Miss Shelly was very patient with me while I called my doctor to sort it out, letting me come back after a few minutes instead of sending me to the back of the line. Also because of my doctor’s mix up, she was very thorough in making sure my paperwork had been faxed over correctly, patiently double-checking without any fuss despite this all happening right before their lunch break.
And when I had to get my blood drawn, Miss Deborah was a godsend! My veins have a history of rolling and being very difficult to draw from (usually being stuck two or three painful times before it actually works), but Miss Deborah was able to draw on her first stick with little to no pain. She knew exactly how to calm me down, chatting with me throughout the entire process so naturally that I didn’t even realize she had finished until she was already wrapping on the gauze.
Both of these women were such a hoot and a blessing for me today— I will definitely be back for future labs if I know they will be there!”
