Extremely predatory and dishonest. I unfortunately broke my phone while visiting my family for a vacation. My fiancée and I came to the nearest MetroPCS to get a new phone. Everything was fine until the clerk assisting me told me if I was interested in doing a payment plan, in which I was hesitant about. I asked if there was any hidden fees or interest in doing so, he said no.I further inquired about receiving a paper or how to view my balance and payment plan, he said it should be under the Metro app. Both were lies. Turns out my $731.34 phone would end up costing me $1357.51!! Now why on EARTH would I voluntarily agree to paying double my phone just to do a stupid payment plan when I could have paid it off in full? I would understand if I was told and had a paper stating this would ultimately be the amount I would pay— I would take full accountability! But the nerve to lie and be deceptive and say there are no hidden fees and it’s the CHEAPER alternative. I have been in contact with corporate and doing run arounds just to avoid having to pay more than what I should have paid.It is completely predatory and dishonest to lie to your customers like that! I will never be back, and I implore anyone thinking of doing a payment plan with them to think otherwise. What should have been an easy transaction ended up becoming a complete financial nightmare. Shame on you.

1. NO RESPECT for customers online.2. NO COURTEOUS assistance unless STORE MANAGER IS PRESENT.3. NO PROFESSIONALISM, RUDE, HORRIBLY RUDE ESPECIALLY ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE.4. I was double-charged for multiple months with refused credit from online supervisors.5. Overcharged multiple times when using auto-payment.6. I had to share my line with (3) other people using the same account phone number. (1) a Spanish person, (1) a Japanese person, and (1) me an American, all on the same line each being charged 55.00 dollars separately.7. When calling customer service you're held online for over 23 minutes.8. In one day I was held from 11:00 am until 6:11 pm while they switched me around to different numbers that didn't pick up or hung up on me, I had to make multiple calls back.9. Each hold time was more than 19 minutes and no one knew how to reach a supervisor or Corp headquarters.10. I had to purchase 3 different phones to start making calls after being stalled for 3 weeks.11. Most horrible company ever. Pure terror getting assistance from customer service. Need to close nasty stores.

I would say this is the worst location in Hampton Roads, but they are all pretty bad. This particular location just happened to inaccurately charge me a fee, keep me waiting for an hour, take personal calls and texts while dealing with me, and the overall cleanliness of the store front (peeling paint, holes in the wall/ceiling, etc.) without solving the issue I came in for. Do not waste your time or money by going here.

Went here after visit Oyster Point store and spent hour and half with customer service. Amber was the person who helped me out and make my son phone work in less than 30 mins. Amber thank you so much 5+

Amber is amazing! She has awesome customer service skills and is very knowledgeable. I've been with Metro for years and Amber is definitely the best yet!! I'd give ten stars if I could!

Amber, from the Williamsburg store location, is a great customer service person. Knowledgeable about the phone, helpful with advise, even especially pleasant when other customers were not! Was in the store a couple of times over the last couple of days getting a new phone hooked up & I could ask her anything. Not to pushy, you know how sales ppl can be, she's amazing & if u have any questions ask her! ? Def 5 stars for excellence!!

The best experience ever! I was served by Amber. She went above and beyond when my credit card didn't go through, my phone bill had not been paid, and I was there stuck. Amber told me to relax and take a deep breath, she gave me her phone to call my bank, and as I was trying to explain to my banker, she kept guiding me in a hushed voice to ensure my banker understands my predicament. I have an accent, so she just wanted to help me pass my message to the banker. We went through these for almost hour while I was using her phone. Guess what, the Bank put my money back on my account and I managed to pay for my phone. Wait a minute...Amber had taught me already that I could have 72 hours of using my phone, she had called Metropcs and put my phone back on even before the bank released the money. As a Kenyan ??, new to these things, I have to say this was the best experience in a phone company ever for my 14 years in USA. Thank you Amber. Twista Masika.
