Clothes cleaned and pants ironed with no crease as requested. Very nice lady.

Nams' staff/owners were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable when it came to fashion for youth. Honest when discussing charges. Refreshing! Sometimes, all I just mentioned previously overrides cost. That's how good they are! Looked like a new suit.

Owner is not friendly and doesn't have very good customer service attitude. Takes her much longer to complete dry cleaning than other shops and twice owner has closed shop early without letting customers know and haven't been able to pick up my dry cleaning.

They were very kind to talk to over the phone and in person. They understood the alterations that I needed and perform those very professionally and in a short period of time. The lady even recall details about me that we had discussed. I would definitely go there againService: Alterations

This is the second time I've brought clothes here to get cleaned and pressed.. Both times I stressed that I want all to be pressed WITH STARCH. And both times I was disappointed. The first time pressed but no starch. Second time not pressed and no starch. All cleaned of course, but not done like I asked. Very disappointed and going to another business next time that might listen.

It's been a VERY long time since I've dropped off clothes at the cleaners so I have no idea if I was being overcharged or not but what I can say is that Nams Cleaners came through and fixed my pants! I dropped by to this cleaner's because I'm always in this small plaza for lunch and I peeped this place next door. I had 3 pair of pants that needed cleaning AND repair. One had a missing button, one had a broken zipper and the other one the hems had fallen out of both pant legs. There wasn't a price sheet anywhere but once I told the lady at the desk what I wanted she printed out the receipt which I thought said $16... It wasn't until I picked up my clothes 5 days later that I realized it was $16 per pant (can I say pant? idk *shrugs*). So I paid about 48 bucks to get that work done but what can I say, I needed it done and that was the price. I wish there was a chart somewhere that would display the prices for all the services they offered.

5.25 for one pair of pants is kinda absurd, not sure if it's a lack of business or a tourist gouge. They did the job well at over 3 times the price I normally pay

Have been coming here for over 10 years. The have dry cleaned clothes, curtains and a down comforter for me as well as hemmed countless dresses and skirts. No complaints...always very honest if they think a stain will not come out or if an alteration will not work. I have been sent straight to their other location in Toano to specifically ask the tailor a question instead of them taking the item and not doing a good job/ what I wanted..they really try their best.

I gave them my Waverly king size bed spread to clean as I thought they would be more experienced then myself. Big mistake they completely ruined the bedspread which previously had a tan background with a pattern. The bed spread is now grey all over. They naturally blamed me and said I had brought it in like that and they had done it to manufacturing instructions. They also stated that I must have cleaned it before this was the first time it has been cleaned. There were no instructions on the bed spread and they are doing a classic blame the customer and not taking any responsibility or apology for ruining the bedding. I went back to Williamsburg home store where I had originally purchased said bed spread and they couldn't believe how NAMS had completely changed the coloring.

I'm a William and Mary business student so I need my suits cleaned pretty often for recruiting purposes. So far I've been here three or four times to get my suits, blazers and dresses cleaned and once to get a newly bought suit pressed. Cleaning: - My suits always come back clean. I had a couple stains in a suit dress of mine that she amazingly got out. Usually I take about three to four pieces of clothing at a time. Runs me about $20 which I think is reasonable. Pressing: - The day I needed the new suit pressed was a tight one: I was leaving for an interview at 1:30, and bought the suit the night before. I had class from 8am to 10:30. Afterwards I went over to Nams and asked the lady if she could press my suit in time for me to leave at 1ish... She took my suit and had it ready by 12:30. Super clutch! I appreciated the fast, short notice service. It cost $10 for the suit jacket and suit pant, which again is pretty reasonable in my opinion.

I am a college student who uses Nams every few months before an engagement that requires me to wear a suit. The work they do is always impeccable. The reason I gave them four stars instead of five is that it is a little expensive sometimes, but really, they do fantastic work and are my regular cleaners.

This is the worst place for dry cleaning in Williamsburg, VA. I brought in a brand new pair of Joseph and Fiss pants size 40 to be shortened on Thursday June 12th and I was told that the pants would be ready in two days (Saturday June 14th) and on time for a funeral on Wednesday June 18th. I received a phone call on Friday June 13th stating that the seamstress did not take a correct inseam measurement and I would need to come back Saturday June 14th to try my pants back on to get the correct measurement. I came to the shop on Tuesday June 17th and to my surprise they tried to hand me the wrong pair of pants. The girl that was there stated that it was her first day and she would call the shop owner. She called and they still could not locate my pants. The girl there insisted that I take the pair of pants they had on my hanger although these were clearly not my pants. The pants she gave me were a size 44 and were much older than the pair i dropped off not to mention a much lower quality pair of pants. I would not recommend this shop at all. I have a funeral today and my clothes will not be ready, I am a pallbearer and this cleaner has made an extremely difficult situation even worse. I still cant believe the young woman working there tried to give me someone else's pants.... Do NOT trust these people with your clothes, keep your receipts and make sure to inventory your items. Lesson learned, hopefully I can get my pants back. Bad bad bad....

I can't believe the review I just read about this cleaners/tailors. I would NEVER want to be caught in a dark alley by the mean reviewer who was going to call the police over the 50 cents overcharge that the tailor was willing to suck up! I have a pair of pants there (where the charge was clearly stated - did the reviewer lose his or what?) and since not one word was mentioned about the work they did, I am going to assume that their work is excellent. The reviewer should get a job.

Good Evening Residents, Ladies and Gentlemen, I wanted to let you know of my experience at NAMS Cleaners in Williamsburg, VA......I took a pair of dress slacks in to have a rehem in one of my slacks legs to NAMS Cleaners. The older Korean woman who was there, she said her name was Pepsi, she said. She gave me a pink slip and told me that my pants would be ready in about 4 days. However; she DID NOT put a price on my slip stating how much it would cost (okay are you following me here?). I asked her how much, she said $ 4.50, but she did not write the price on my slip. I went back and guess what? The older Korean woman named Pepsi was there and she got my slacks and said "it is $ 5.00, I told her that she told me it was $ 4.50. The woman behind the counter tried to swindle me and she said yae, well sometimes they have to charge more when they complete the work....I told her AGAIN, you told me $ 4.50 and I began shaking my head, as if to say I'm not another chump customer of yours. I had my $ 20.00 bill in my hand and she slowly started reaching for my $ 20.00 with her old hand, I did not budge and her trickery with the bony hand did not get my $ 20.00 bill, she then said; okay it is $ 4.50 and I said that's right, that is just the price you qouted me and that is all I will pay. She apoligized several times (cause she knew I just caught her in one of the oldest tricks in the book, called the Swindol). If she wanted to give me a rashion, I was about to call 911 for the police. Oh and did I mention she did not even give me a receipt as she never does give receipts...MMMM, I wonder if the IRS knows about this? I remenber a year ago, I toojk my sweater there to get a zipper replaced and the same thing happened, I was told it would be $ 8.00 and when I returned the same thing happened, I was told it was $ 18.00, and yes you guessed it, I only paid the $ 8.00. Just keep in mind that if you go to NAMS cleaners, you will be greeted by Pepsi or whom ever and you will get the helllo, how are yooouuu? by a NAM employee, then when you go to pick up your stuff, SHIZZAAAAM !!! you get the screwizzle, that is if you are not on your toes that is. You can do sooooo much better else where. Thank you for listening, Take Care
