Visited to deposit a starting bonus check for a new job, and was instantly accused of the check being fake and it had a lot of suspicious "blurry" print. Teller had an attitude right from the start stating she had never heard of the bank (it's mainly a North/South Carolina bank), so she was "suspicious" it was fraudulant and refused to deposit the check. The owner of the company literally handed me the check after having dinner with him last week, but she must know best. Won't be coming back to this branch due to the absolute rudeness of the teller, unfortunately too upset to remember her name. But the teller id was #C4341

I love this bank. They are awesome people. They have the slowest ATM I have ever seen. If you deposit cash it could take 3 or 4 mins for the whole process. Ridiculously slow.

My mother visited this branch this afternoon and the financial representative was EXTREMELY rude to her. She made my mother feel that she was not important as a member. She kept saying "are we done?" Repeatedly. She looked annoyed and impatient. She was acting like she really didn't want to explain anything to her. My mother then had to request the branch manager which apologized repeatedly. My mother has 4 different accounts with NFCU and felt totally disrespected. This is totally out of character for any NFCU branch because employees are usually never like this even in MY 20 years of being a member.

The bank in general is fine. 4 stars as far as their corporate customer service is concerned. This branch, however, has no idea what they're doing.I spent over 30 min on the phone with the bank verifying the process and paperwork and documents needed for a name change and adding a joint owner. I decided it would be quicker to stop by the branch during lunch. The branch had me fill out the same form twice, which ended up being a waste as the 800-number informed me to just fill out all the pertinent sections of one copy of that form. The branch then told me that they couldn't accept my ID and name change form, despite having explicitly confirming it with the 800-number.Annoyed, I left and called the 800-number back, told them what happened and they sent me the 1 form to fill out and had me send them the documents I had. My name change and joint owner addition happened flawlessly once I was assisted by competent employees. While it was nice to learn that the process could be accomplished so efficiently and remotely, it was definitely annoying to waste my time driving across town to this location.Edit to add: upon further examination of the paperwork (which also includes a list of the required documents) and confirming with a representative through their 800-number, the document that they were giving me such a hard time about, isn't even required for the changes I went in there for. These guys are an absolute joke.

I've banked with navy federal for years and never been disappointed with any branch offices. I remember one time I received an email about an order I received but I didn't purchase the item. I immediately called them and there wasn't a charged on the account. I still felt a little uneasy about so I went down to the local office and they took care of me and understood my concerns. All of the staff that I've interacted with are completely understandable and I don't see myself banking with anyone else.

I came here for a couple different reasons which caused me to be here for awhile. The staff were all very helpful and patient in guiding me through the different processes. What a change in atmosphere from Bank of America. I am glad to be working with Navy Federal.

Just went to the branch on Monticello and Veronica, as well as everyone else, was incredibly patient and professional as I was slightly angered by a mishandling of funds at another bank. She was calm the entire time and understanding. They are the best!
