How rude I went to buy some feeder goldfish you know the 2 for a dollar fish to put in my 10 gallon tank the lady there would not sell me any said my tank was to small these fish are meant as food and I wanted to have some as pets needless to say no matter what I need I will never shop there again

Our dog, Chance, started puppy training classes in June with Katie in the Williamsburg, VA store. She was humorous, and polite, letting us know that actually my husband and I who were being trained. She is both professional and encouraging. We’re very happy with Katie’s services and learning proven techniques. We saw immediate results.

My dog prefers one specific brand of dog food "nulo". It's expensive but I purchase it with her Hills Science Diet dry. It is so difficult to get the dog manager or whoever does that to keep it stocked. A box of 12 cost me about $24.99 and I even purchase 2 boxes when I find in stock. The individual item is $1.99 each. Unfortunately, they have a high employee turnover rate as well to assist you. Mark the newest Manager is trying to fulfill this position. Stopped by this location to add a fish to our tank at home. Katie took plenty of time explaining EVERYTHING to me. She was very polite and educational. While the majority of the freshwater fish were in quarantine she was still able to help me pick out a fish that would go great with our goldfish at home. She also helped me pick out a good substrate and helped me make sure our new fish would be able to eat the same food as our goldfish. She was also very attentive and helpful to other customers while we were there. 5 stars for Katie!

I’ve had nothing but negative experiences at this place. The staff are EXTREMELY rude. There is never anyone at the register and if they are, they will stand there and blatantly ignore you for 10-20 minutes. I once had an experience so bad that I contacted corporate and was told they would “investigate” and call me back. That was months ago and I’ve heard nothing. This store and company SUCK. You and your pets deserve better. Nautical Dog right down the street is WONDERFUL. Go there instead!

This already was a below average store. Just convenient for location. But showed up today at 11 to see people exiting the store having purchased things, but the employees locking the door behind them. They said "sorry, we'll be open in just a minute" and then proceeded to tape a sign to the door that said "due to short staff we'll open at 11:45". Almost hilarious.

Went in there with hopes to get a new pet, while I won't specify what I was interested in getting, the person who "helped" me out was very condescending. They did not seem to want to help me in my journey to adding a new member to my family, rather, they seemed more interested in discouraging me in purchasing the pet all together. While they seemed knowledgable, I decided to fact check them on my way home and found that close to nothing they were telling me in terms of caring for this animal was actually true. I was very dissatisfied with my visit and would recommend not going to purchase a new pet, only visit if you are wanted to buy things for a pet you already have.
