Jenna is incredible. I had been going to the same salon for 20 years, but after moving, finding someone new felt impossible until I found her. She knows what she’s doing, especially when it comes to covering grays and highlighting so it doesn’t turn brassy. The color came out beautiful and just what I liked. This place is a hidden gem in Williamsburg. So happy I found her.

I've been impressed with this salon enough to stay with them for 9 or more years. My stylist is the former owner Mindy. She's always willing to try things for my hair... Cut shorter, grow longer, Brazilian blowout at the beginning of humid season style curly, style straight. Talk about new products. This is my main pampering and I love everything about it!

This is a MUST read! If there was a 10 star rating, they would get it! Here is my story…….
At 11:30am I called the Salon on a whim emergency as my 8-year old daughter was suffering from a very large hair knot that we still have no idea how “Gretchen” came to be, but attributed it to be some water issue at a local attraction.
My encounter began with Ms. Emily answering the phone in a polite and attentive manner. I briefly explained my predicament and Emily put me on a very brief hold to check with the stylists there to see what they could do. Her response was “if you can bring her right over, we will fit her right in!” As a completely panicked Daddy, I took both my daughter and my extremely patience niece to the salon where we were greeted with a set of smiles! They immediately took my daughter to an open chair and began working on what we all later called “Gretchen” the hair monster!!!! With the incredible help of the owner, Karmen, Lauren, AND Emily, and their endless pursuit to ensure not a strand of hair was unnecessarily lost, Gretchen was gone! Oh, did I mention the fact this ordeal took over SIX hours on complete and undivided attention!!!! What Sparrow & Grace never became privy to was that I also own a customer service consulting firm
Above and beyond my “day” job. This experience is the definition of true customer service! What an incredibly devoted, caring, thoughtful, generous, and loving team Sparrow and Grace offers! Do not pay attention to any negative reviews. They clearly have not truly experienced what kindness and professionalism actually is!

Tucked away in the small Cedar Valley shopping center on Rochambeau and across from the large Wal-Mart, is a friendly hair salon called Sparrow and Grace catering to men, women, and children. The atmosphere is bright and relaxing. I recommend making an appointment, as they are quite busy. You could buy a Starbucks before your appointment, but no need. They have tea, coffee, and water for their customers. Lauren is one of the stylists, and she provides cut and color services for our family. She does an excellent job--even with difficult-to-manage wavy hair.

Had a terrible time trying to even book an appointment. Days later finally got a response from the salon and was told none of their stylists could do a color correction “at this time” (mind you all I had asked was merely their next availability, even if it was weeks/months from now.) Just a weird response from a professional business. Hopefully they improve their communication skills!

First time here for both of us. My hair had not been cut since November 2022, when our stylist left for North Carolina. Shaggy and long. Excellent job of getting me back from the wild to today. Excellent styling and cut for my wife. Our daughter has made an appointment and looks forward to the visit. Recommend highly.
