The online ordering system is BAD. After filling out all the information, as well as a hassle with passwords, it declined my credit card, which is perfectly OK. Too bad.

Their hours are too short, last appointment is at around 3pm. Expensive, and 3 year contract is ridiculous. They have serviced my neighborhood for years, and they still brought the wrong sized tank, which prompted my HOA to send a letter stating the propane enclosure was broken and should be repaired immediately. It's not broken, the tank is too big. Suburban should know what size for this neighborhood. When said contract is up, I will not be renewing.

HORRIBLE customer service. If you enjoy being left on hold multiple times only for the call to disconnect from waiting so long, then this business might be for you. The scheduling system is an absolute mess. Don’t expect a confirmation call. There is no window of time to expect service so you are left to wait at home all day until someone shows up. Also no scheduling on the weekend so if you want to be a customer you better work from home during the week. There is no courtesy call before your technician shows up to verify that you are home.

Rude and incompetent. When I lived in Virginia, the propane tank at my house (which Suburban owned) had a broken meter that always read zero. They took this as an excuse to repeatedly deliver gas agains my wishes, then try to bill me for hundreds of dollars (and multiple years) worth of gas that I didn't need. This despite repeated calls from me explaining the situation and asking them to stop. I will never live someplace served by them ever again.
