I usually love it here. Something happened today that left a bad taste in my mouth. For some reason, tj maxx tends to put there least friendliest or “people person” employees at the jewelry counter. I am African American and I came in today. I asked to see some bangles ($16) once she showed me them I fell in love and asked if she also had a viral coach bracelet that I was looking for. She pointed to another counter (in the same area) and said “check over there” as I started to walk to where she pointed (in the same area) she almost lost her mind and yelled “wait a minute! I just can’t let you walk off with those!” speaking about the bangles that I was about to purchase. She was so frantic that everyone within that area (purses and jewelry) immediately turned and looked at me like I was trying to run out of the store or something. She came running over to me and I said “you just told me to come over to look, I wasn’t going anywhere, it’s okay” the whole thing was just embarrassing and ridiculous. I was holding $16 house of Harlow bangles and not a gucci watch or something. Karen (her name was literally Karen) you need some customer service training skills and you need to relax. African American doesn’t automatically mean criminal. I’ve spent hundreds if not thousands at this tj maxx alone. Then you have the nerve to ask if I want to sign up for a credit card? Of course I don’t want to now. I wanna stay far away from anywhere that would embarrass me like this.

Men's section is small, but we know the brand and how many Brands under a corporate umbrella. All their stores men section stinks. But My daughter definitely loves it ?

Don’t really have anything good clothing wise. Did get my kids book bags from here. Customer service is great.
