“I first visited 3 years ago and rented a short course truck to drive on the track. $$$$$ later I'm hooked on RC and practice and race every chance I get.

The owners and staff are always extremely helpful. Both the indoor and outdoor tracks are easily the best in the area. The store is pretty good but it is frustrating that the inventory is split between Chantilly and Winchester, so don't expect to pop in and get parts for your 1/8 scale buggy in Chantilly.

My only wish is that the track hours and availability would improve in Winchester. In particular, more frequent evening hours would be nice for people like myself who have a job (required to pay for RC!). But worse, I'm super bummed that both tracks are closed at the same time in August/Sept 2025 for rebuilds. My point is, I really enjoy this hobby, but if you do also, be prepared to find another hobby during certain times of the year. As strange as this may seem, I get a distinct feeling that keeping the tracks open is not a top priority. (My two cents: they do not charge enough to use the track given the quality and fun provided).”

“Edit:
It's gotten a lot more organized. Still wish there was a better cutting area for the fabric and a larger selection of fabric as well. It's very limited right now, but to be expected when they have so much selection of other crafts.

Nice store but half the time things are kind of messy. It's gotten better but still feels overcrowded in some areas, especially when they leave large carts of inventory to stock sitting in the aisles. Need to have a dedicated area for cutting fabric out of the middle of the main aisle back to the yarn.
Staff has always been nice and helpful when i do need help though”

“Loved popping in and meeting Laura! She proudly showcased her local yarn and I bought two skeins of fingering weight yarn enough to make a shawl. What a fantastic find! Hope to be back soon!”

“I love this small shop. They are local and so friendly and helpful. The yarn is very good quality. They have the accessories I need and are well made. I never mind paying cash or writing a check. It’s so worth it to support a small business.”
