“Wonderful shop crammed to the rafters with yarn! The owner helped me pick out a kit for Appalachian Baby Designs who I have wanted to try. Also found a hand dyed yarn from another designer I hadn't tried before, Purple Lamb. Cute shop with a very nice owner.”

“Very happy with this hobby store for what they are able to provide. I’ve purchased RTR RCs here and modeling kits. I was very happy to see they sell materials like paint and tools for modeling or RC kits. A few years ago the store was different and had much more inventory and I wish they had more of a variety of things in stock.”

“Very kind and helpful folks here! Be aware that they don't take cards, but do take cash & check! There's an ATM down at Cameron & Piccadilly as well as a few others in walking distance. Will definitely be back.”

“They always have a lot of very cool stuff. It's a great place to get seasonal items. I'm also able to find paints for my action figure customizations. The only difficult part is finding a staff number to help you.”

“This Michaels store fits the typical mold you'd expect from the chain. It's brimming with an array of art supplies and various other items. An amusing incident occurred at checkout – the cashier appeared somewhat irritated when I opted not to use my loyalty card to accrue points. Since I reside roughly two hours away from this location and don't frequent the area often (likely my next visit would be in a year or two), it didn't seem practical to collect points that would probably expire by my next visit. Additionally, I had previously chosen to unsubscribe from Michaels' daily emails, which were a bit too frequent for my liking. Despite this, it remains the nearest Michaels to me, and I anticipate returning in the future when I'm in the area again.”
