Traveling to FL from NY, thought I had a slow leak, my tire pressure sensor kept coming on.. we'd filled tire in question about 60 miles north of here but sensor kept coming back on. Man at the shop checked for a leak, none, however the tires were very over filled, not sure if gage at station we used was not accurate but he got us to correct pressure and was extremely nice and helpful! I slept better that night for sure. No charge but I gave him a great tip ?

Took my car in last Friday morning to be inspected and was told they were too busy. I said I could bring it later and they said it would be fine. Brought it back when they said and was told I’d have to leave it overnight. Picked it up the next day and paid for the inspection, after I paid they told me they failed it and I had 15 days to fix the part or I would have to repay for the inspection. I took it to my mechanic Monday morning was called Tuesday morning saying all three of the mechanics checked my car and nothing was wrong with the part. They contacted the inspector and told them and he said for me to bring it back in. Took it back yesterday and dropped it off, they called and said they took off the rejection sticker so now it had nothing on it, they would refund my money and I could take it somewhere else. I took it to Pep Boys in Winchester, explained what was told to me, and had to leave it over night once again. Pep Boys called me this morning and said car was done and passed with no issues and nothing was wrong with said parts. A lot of days of inconveniences and money for no reason. Mind you my mechanics are also an inspection station, just for WV, so that’s 4 extra inspectors that looked at it. I understand people have a job, but never again. The gentleman at the front desk here was very during all the encounters, but the other man talked to me like he could care less and seemed very unwelcoming.

Plugged a tire for us while traveling. Fast service, and great price, when they easily could have gouged us because we were in need to get back home to NH.
