Very kind and helpful folks here! Be aware that they don't take cards, but do take cash & check! There's an ATM down at Cameron & Piccadilly as well as a few others in walking distance. Will definitely be back.

The owner was so nice! They don't take card payments but she works with you. I would suggest to take cash though. Lovely place!

I needed help with a knitting project, and Knit 1 Purl 2 was able to show me exactly what to do and got me off to a great start!

Don't shop here. Not only does their selection suck but they are selling confederate flags. It's beyond me why you need to sell racist paraphernalia in a knitting store (except maybe to just be obnoxious) but there we are..... The knitting store in Purcellville is much nicer anyway.

This was another stop on the walk from the car to the Pedestrian Mall in Old Town Winchester. I was drawn in by the many pretty, pretty Vera Bradley bags in the window. The store itself is on the first floor of an old brick brownstone building. You walk through a screen door into the small-ish shop. There was a group of about 3-4 women around a table doing some knitting. They told me that it was a program called "Knit and Sit." Cute. I don't knit, but I have some friends that do so I do know some things about knitting. Yarn selection wise..they didn't seem to have a ton compared to a store like Jo Ann's. They did have some needles and buttons and stuff like that also. The prices here on Veras were extremely competitive..and I may have got one while I was there.
