I know they’re extremely busy. But, after a very unpleasant conversation they had with a family member - I went in to straighten the situation out. Wrong idea. Oh, so wrong! I was treated with complete disrespect by 2 employees. We ended up moving the car elsewhere. This review won’t make any difference, but I’ll never go back. I’ve bought my last 4 vehicles from Malloy. I’m only 1 customer, but never again.

They were so incredibly incompetent the examples fill over 100 pages of documentation. The repairs and failures were so bad they provided me a new car. And advertised my old car with over $15k in damages as No Accident on the CarFax! The night I drove my restored car home it was raining. I turned the defroster on full and got blasted in the face with fine glass dust. I required emergency care and FIVE steroid injections to one eye! I still suffer to this day because of this gross oversight. For major repairs get towed into Sterling or Fairfax where the techs know what they are doing.Dishonest and deceitful: the manager Amanda claimed the thick splotch of fresh paint on the roof was not their responsibility. The top insurance man was dispatched to the shop from great distance and got in their faces to keep me from being ripped off! Incompetent: after written and verbal notices to protect my car from rain, on surprise inspection it was raining inside my car on electronics. The insurance field office descended in force upon the shop once again. Amanda put in a letter they would pay any electronic repairs for one year. Incompetent: they damaged the dash pad removing the windshield, a very costly and hard to obtain part replacement. They painted over dirt. They claimed many scuffs were pre-existing. The insurance expert again got in their face, all those scuffs were from the shop brushing power cords against the paint he said. The car reeked of noxious adhesive fumes. To a toxic level. Cars are all worked on in a common space so that my freshly painted car was covered in 1/8th inch of sanding dust and debris from other project cars only feet away. The headliner was replaced with dirty hands. The independent body shop owner that looked over my car picked out gross defects for a solid half hour. The fine glass crust covering EVERYTHING on inside surfaces was shocking to him. He observed the fine trails of glass dust that had blown out the defroster vents into my eyes. He said Toyotas were known for fine glass powder when damaged. He said the shop must drive such a car on rough road to dislodge the fine dust in the deepest recesses of the vents. Then run the system on high thru all vent settings. I produced my car to Winchester Police who confirmed a fine blast of glass powder coming out of the defrost vents. THAT FINE DUST WAS BLOWN INTO MY EYES AND I REQUIRED EMERGENCY CARE, STEROID INJECTIONS TO MY EYE!!!!, AND SUFFERING TO THIS DAY. The shop damaged the gear selector console, both air bag covers, and placed car mats over piles of crash debris. Amanda was embarrassed to say the least. When I drove my Corolla into Malloy Toyota service their service writer was shocked at the glass dust glistening in the sun all across the dash board. The little cubby hole under the radio where I placed my phone was so covered in glass I had cut myself. THE SERVICE WRITER HIMSELF GOT STUCK WITH GLASS SHARDS encrusting this shelf. If you take your car here for more than a scratch repair, shame on you. I could have been blinded and crashed! Malloy provided me a new car and advertised my wreck on CarFax as Accident Free!Malloy’s attorney refused to give their insurance company information to make a claim on the defroster injury to my eyes.I’m trying to get one of the Washington DC TV stations to expose this consumer atrocity and shame Malloy Auto Group into doing the right thing: paying for the injuries to my eyes!

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! You’d probably have better luck literally putting an entire car back together yourself and have it done in less time. They have had my boyfriend’s vehicle for THREE MONTHS NOW AND REFUSE TO SHOW US THE CAR, and then claim it will be ready next week. Next week has never come. Mind you the car had only minor damage to the front and could’ve been fixed in a month possibly two since they did claim “some parts were on back order” this is ridiculous and the ladies that work in the office are nothing but condescending. Please reconsider taking your vehicles here !!!!!

One of our vehicles was in an accident and required some mechanical work. Amanda was amazing and was very professional.

Worst shop in Winchester period. First off, my vehicle has been there FOR MONTHS. The people in there are never accommodating and always seem as if you are a burden on them for calling them about THEIR problem. I don’t care what everyone says, some parts are NOT on back order and you CAN expedite parts to the garage.ITS PITTIFULL that these people have been trying to make my vehicles time there as long and painful as possible and them using sly language to make it seem that they’re right and you’re wrong. Absolutely ridiculous and maddening. If I could get it a negative score I would.F all of you.0/5 stars

A local tire shop damaged a rocker panel molding on my 2017 car and they wanted me to take it to Malloy for the repair. The tire shop has an account with Malloy, this might be important later. I went to Malloy and got the estimate for the repair. I also had them price repainting the front bumper, unrelated to the rocket molding damage. Even though there was no damage to the front bumper itself, just paint problems, they wanted to replace the bumper entirely. That is just lazy. So they weren't doing that but I did schedule the repair of the rocker panel molding. They said it would take 2-3 days.I dropped the car off Sunday night for the Monday AM appointment. They have a key drop, which isn't really a key drop just a mail slot in the door. So when you drop your key fob though the fob hits the hard interior floor. Nice. The full 3 days pass and I don't hear anything. 4th day and still nothing. On Friday I call Malloy. They said it was ready Thursday, but instead of calling me they called the tire shop. Even though the tire shop has an account with them they need pay immediately before I can get my car. Malloy did not bother to call me to a) let me know the car was ready or even b) let me know they were having problem getting payment. So, they are now holding my car for ransom for a paltry $500 even though there is an account. Through this the staff was very rude about the situation.I get the payment straightened out and go to pick my car up. The paint match is good, but the car is covered in dust and what I believe is pine needles. My car was detailed 3 days prior to the drop off (the previous Friday). They hadn't even bothered to clean it. There were also streaks on the interior front windshield like they tried to clean that for some reason. I was unhappy with this but I needed the car back so I took it and left.Over the weekend I washed in and noticed that the front of the rocker panel was sticking out from the body a bit, which it wasn't doing before. I could push it back in with my hand but it would pop out again. Upon further inspection they had broke the front mounting post on the rocker panel. They didn't even try to repair it, just left it damaged. Since i noticed that I took a closer look at the rest of the work. I found that instead of installing the under vehicle splash shield over the under side of the molding they put the molding over the splash shield, so it bulges out at the bottom. They did this even though they could have simply taken a look at the other side, which is still as the factory installed it.So, to sum up they did the work improperly, were extremely rude, failed to notify me of payment issues (which aren't my problem), took too long, left the car dirty and damaged the part they were repairing. Complete failure in any aspect of their work. What a mess they created and now it needs to be redone. At this point I wish I had just left the damage the tire shop caused.Services: Painting

Repaired my back door perfectly. No one would ever guess it had a big dent in it previously. And it was done in just a few days. I highly recommend Malloy for body work!Service: Body & Trim

An awesome shop, everyone was helpful, kind and the best part...they actually fixed my car. It was a great experience. Love their an patience, I was late dropping it off and picking it up. But they were so kind an understanding.

Upon dropping off my vehicle to the center, I was told to wait a month and a half until they could start working on it. Until then, I was told the parts would be ordered and everything should be set to go a week after drop off. Fast forward to the drop off date, 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing. When I went to check on the progress, I had seen exactly the same minor damage done without any replacement. After giving them multiple calls, they promised me it would be done by the end of the week (the 3rd week by now) because they had "forgotten to order the bumper" 2 months back. Eventually, the manager worked with me and decided to put it on over the weekend so I could have it before I headed back to college... that was 3 weeks ago and I still have not received the bumper. Very unimpressed with the promptness and organization of this company. The only positive comment I have is the work itself; professional and finished, but a month and a half overdue.

I waited for 2 weeks for parts to arrive and for 1 week for an actual repair, which I was made aware of. However, after 3 weeks of waiting, when I went back to pick up the car, the paint job was poorly done, a turn signal was not secured properly, one of body part was missing and wrong bumper clips were used. When discussing with the manager, she was nice about it and agreed to address the problems promptly. However, when I am paying $2500, I expect better job. They should have better quality control person at the shop.Services: Painting

After taking 8 days on their 1-3 day estimate I called and was told that my car bumper would be replaced and car ready to go by end of day. I arrived near end of day to find my entire bumper ripped off and stored on my back seats. After storming into their office I was told how "sorry" everyone was which quickly became a tired record and the newly appointed manager guaranteed a next day finish.I wonder how many people have waited and waited patiently with blind faith in this place...
