Treacherous business practice that makes it as difficult as possible to cancel your membership and will not offer refunds for charges occurred during long periods of dormant activity. Never again will I fall for this ploy, simply awful business strategies. I encourage you to think twice before joining this gym.

Went to the Winchester, VA planet fitness. I'm on a house hunting trip there. Thouht I'd check it out. It was very big, plenty of equipment and various treadmills etc for cardio. It's also open 24 hrs 5 days a week. Soon I'll be working out there regularly.

The only thing I don't like is the limit on the Massage chairs and having to walk fully around back up to the front to say hey I would like a few more min. Maybe a button requesting more time that lights up so the front desk see. ?

The people working there looked utterly confused when I asked where the free weights were, it's like he tried to avoid saying "we really don't have any". I asked where the bench was and he pointed to the Smith machine. The squat rack? Pointed to the Smith machine. Huge waste of space for 300 colorful treadmills. What kind of gym doesn't have a bench press, shoulder press, or squat rack?I didn't see a barbell either. However there could have been one hiding somewhere but I don't know what plates you'd put on it.I'm sure this place is great if you want to run all day or tan.It was very clean and the tanning machines looked nice and the young kids working there were friendly That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of one.

GO TO ONE LIFE IF YOU CAN!! Planet fitness is so bad, it’s small, crowded, dirty, dim lighting, and overall unmotivated. Have fun getting a good workout here because you really cant

Basically the only 24 hour gym around.Don't like the fact the weekends aren't 24 hours though.The Black Card is a good deal.I've never seen pizza or heard the lunk alarm.Feels like an urban legend at this point.

I've been here a couple times. The facility is kept really clean and the staff always greets me as I enter. The gym is big enough that even when it's busy, I still get access to the equipment I need.

Do not join planet fitness in Virginia....you will have to write a letter if you move-to cancell.And if you joined during their $1 membership special in September -the manager, John N, will charge you for a year-in October!!!Terrible

What a stand up guy he is. Thanks for everything you do. I wish there were more people like you in this world. Your gym is the best I’ve ever been to, and the customer service is something to be very proud of. I love this place!! I’d give it Ten stars if I could give it!

The winchester va gym was very nice as a truck driver it is very difficult to find gym that will alow truck and trailer parking many of the planet fitness locations i go near do not allow it i always call first and the staff at winchester very friendly and very trucker friendly i asked if it would be a problem to stay the night and they were more then happy to accommodate me very much appreciated. the gym although a smaller one was very clean will definitely be back when i am in the area

Overall this club is great! The reason for not giving the 5th star is the shower area. There needs to be seating in this area. This is the 1st pf that doesn't have a seating area when you're done showering. A wrap around bench would be nice!? But a few plastic purple chairs would work too! You could probably get them for $5! Just something for the owner to think about.
