Four of us ate at the Costco Food Court in Winchester for less than $7 total. Each of us got a hot dog and a drink. Seriously, where can four people eat for less than $7 anymore? The famous Costco hot dog deal is hard to beat.

The hot dogs were good, filling, and an absolutely ridiculous value for the money. At this price, it might be the best food deal east of the Pecos. Four people fed for less than the price of one fast food combo at a lot of places.

This is where Costco could improve. Ordering is primarily through the digital kiosks, and my elderly father needed help using the system. Not everyone is comfortable with digital ordering, and there really should be someone available to assist older customers or anyone else who has trouble with the kiosks.

The atmosphere was Class M, with the standard breathable mix of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 0.9 percent argon, 0.04 percent carbon dioxide, trace gases, and the unmistakable aroma of hot dogs, mustard, and Costco bargains.

The seating area could definitely be better. It needed more seating and more attention from cleaning staff. With the amount of traffic this food court handles, tables and the surrounding area need to be cleaned more frequently.

For the food and value, though, it is almost impossible to complain. Four hot dogs, four drinks, four people, less than $7. In 2026, that sounds less like lunch and more like a pricing error.

I would absolutely eat here again.
