An absolute must for animal lovers! My family had so much fun on this stunning farm. The alpacas were so fun and friendly, and clearly very healthy and well cared for. They were well trained for photo ops and you can decide the level of interaction you'd like. There wasn't too much walking which was perfect for our group. I especially liked that there was a chance to buy yarn made from these alpacas, as knitters/crocheters will know alpaca yarn is very luxurious and it was really special to get to meet the alpacas the yarn comes from!

A wonderful farm with well taken care of animals. The owner was fantastic, very informative and nice. The alpacas are so amazing and each with their own personality. I'd highly recommend this farm especially if you have little ones who will love feeding the alpacas.

We stopped in while in the area. Robin came out gave us a quick tour of the alpacas and told us all about them. We got to feed them, which was fun. The animals are so sweet and it's clear that Robin and co take great care of them. We bought some yarn and socks. Cool experience, one worth stopping by for. They do tours if you call and schedule.

By far one of the best experiences I have had in Virginia. The owners are beyond sweet and will answer any and all questions you have about the alpacas, and they let you feed and pet a few of them to make it an incredibly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend you visit, and get something from their lovely gift shop!

Pacabella is such a great time! John and Robin are so nice and welcomed us with open arms when we stopped by on a rainy Saturday. We loved meeting and feeding the alpacas and Dolly and learning a little bit about them. If you are making a trip to the SML area be sure to make time to stop at Pacabella!

Robin and John were so welcoming! We truly enjoyed every minute with them and their beautiful Alpacas! Robin was so patient in answering all 6 of the kids questions and showing them everything Alpacas!! The boutique on the property is definitely a must. Everything is fair trade and the quality good!

Pacabella is wonderful for the whole family. Owner, Robin and John, gave us a great tour of their alpaca farm. We were able to get up-close with the alpacas. We also saw goats and a llama. It is a scenic place with a nice gift shop. I highly recommend visiting Pacabella.

So we were greeted by John and Robin and their family of Alpaca's, this weekend during their open house. We learned so much about the Alpaca's. The animals had it "made in the hay" and it was so good to see how much pasture and shelter they had access. The Alpaca's were clean,so friendly and we got to hug one of their necks. lIn addition to the Alpaca's we got to see some handmade products in their little store. We felt no pressure to purchase and when we got home we realizedwe must go back to get a few more great handmade gifts for Christmas !(and maybe get another peak at the Paca's!)Call or email in advance for hours.

This place is so sweet and fun. The farm tour is free, which is great because that's exactly how much I wanted to pay given the limits of my wallet. By the end of the trip, I bought something from their gift shop because I was having a great time and felt it was worth it. The alpacas are softer than you can imagine, and the owners are extremely friendly and know a lot about their trade. 10/10 very silly alpaca haircuts.

Great outdoor activity. Owners are very gracious. The alpacas however have questionable loyalties; as fair weather friends, they only liked us when we had food in our hands.

Robin and John were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts for our visit to the farm. We loved meeting the alpacas, goats, and chickens (and Dolly the llama, too!) and learning more about life on the farm. The new babies were adorable! And the boutique was full of fun, pretty, and good-smelling things; we couldn't help but buy some things, in part to compensate Pacabella for the free tour. We'll definitely be back with friends and family!
