Absolutely awful customer service. Finally had an appointment after waiting over a month. I arrived on Tuesday 3/5 and was told since I was 10 minutes early that I need to sit down and wait until my appointment time. So I did. After my appointment time we waited 45 MINUTES and hadn’t even been checked in, and no one told anyone else that we were there. At that time I go up to the counter and she says “Oh are you ready to check out?” HA. I hadn’t even been checked in!! So I call today at 3:00pm and talked to the rudest little girl who had zero care in the world to help me reschedule another appointment. What’s sad is as the doctor was in and out from the back while we were waiting you can tell she is such a nice Vet. It’s the little girls in the front that need customer service training and they need it quick.

I am extremely disappointed in this Banfield location. My dog has been suffering from a UTI for 4 days. We took her to this Banfield location and paid an extra $78.00, (we have the wellness plan), for the comprehensive lab results. I called today to get an update on her lab results, since they didn't call me with an update and the vet did not send her home with any medication to give her some relief. However, I was consistently told that the vet would call me back to discuss the results and a treatment plan. I have not heard anything after 4 hours of waiting and several follow-up phone calls. Meanwhile, my fur baby has to be placed in her kennel due to her incontinence and pungent urine. If this was a human treatment center, they would be held responsible for their unprofessionalism and disregard of a suffering patient.BAD FORM BANFIELD

I have had a great experience with Banfield Animals Hospital. I was introduced to Banfield back in 2010 when my first boxer was 8 weeks old, and I and my family built a wonderful relationship to his passing in 2021, so when we decided to add to our family again Yes two boxer I purchase them at 8week old now they are 1 years and 9 months we continue build with Banfield

Karol was amazing with my baby Luna, very nice and thorough with the visit. Strongly recommend this location despite what everyone says, nice team work to everyone in that clinic !

Drive to another location. These employees will close and not contact you when you have an appointment. I’ve left messages etc and have not heard 1 thing from them. I drive and will continue to drive to other location out of my way.

This Banfield Pet Hospital has to be hands down the worst location I’ve ever dealt with. Their payment system was down the day I took my dog in, which I understand can happen, but they wanted to write my credit card information on a sticky note which I was not comfortable with, so I offered to come in the next day to pay my invoice or pay online. They told me that if I didn’t give them my card information via them writing it down on their sticky notes or over their unsecured phone line, they’d send it to collections. Obviously this was an empty threat because they aren’t able to do that and I just paid through the Banfield payment center, but they were very rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a manager to settle this dispute and they told me that they did not have a manager. This will be the last time I ever go to this location and I don’t recommend anyone to ever go here. I tried multiple times to resolve this issue with them and they just kept threatening to send my account to collections. If they are this rude over something small like this I can’t imagine how they treat the animals when no one is looking.

Booked an appointment online for a 4-5m.o. feral kitten to get a check up after we trapped her because we found out that the kitten was pregnant. Went to Banfield the next day as scheduled at the appointment time and they were closed! The kitten had given birth overnight and we didnt notice until on the way to Banfield for the morning appointment smh. Only reason we were going to Banfield was for the free exam, so I called my regular vet and they took care of the kittens

They refused to perform any service in front of the pet parent(me), then after they take her to the back they perform services without my permission only to be told afterwards because my poor cat was hissing at them because they were doing an invasive test without my consent, I told the doctor do you have kids and she said no, I then said well if you did would you want someone to do that to your child if you had one and she said no, so then why was it done?? At this point I'm heated and ready to go because my poor cat was still crying in the carrier because she's obviously scared and tell the front desk people we need to hurry up lets go let me pay we need to leave immediately while snapping My fingers, one receptionist was working with another customer and stops helping customer to sit down and yell at me that I need to be quiet don't snap at us you need to be patient you need to sit down blah blah blah, if you just were told what I were you'd be heated and ready to go, she should've just said I'm so sorry for the experience sir give us a few minutes and we will get you right out of here, her name is Carol, rude and bad customer service especially from someone who is in "training" she is your worst front desk associate, the other girls have always been so nice and friendly, I have more than one cat so go I go there frequently so I know how the service normally is, thankfully another receptionist Melissa helped me and said everything carol didn't and descalated the situation. But just from that one associate I don't even want to go back, all it takes is 1 bad after taste and it ruins it all

My sister called to get her puppy her next set of vaccinations while she was here visiting me. She verified she could start the wellness plan with her local address in Michigan by calling this location first…The person said yes, we would just use your local zip because she’s already in the system with Bandfield… the woman looked up her account and said you’re already in the system. Once we arrived at the appointment, they said that is not true and she never said that. If that was the case, would be no point to bring her puppy there if we didn’t confirm that… They were also a bit rude about it AND more importantly, they don’t even sanitize their dog scale in between dogs which is very dangerous for puppies not yet able to receive all their vaccines. We watched 3 dogs get weighed after each other. Her Bandfield in Michigan does sanitize the scale. I would never recommend this place in Woodbridge. Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication, they basically called us liars. Very rude. I live in this area and I will make sure to tell everyone about this experience. My pets go to Staples Mill pet hospital and I highly recommend them.

I have been with Banfield for almost 8 years and never have a complaint. They truly are amazing. And Dr. Tran, AHHHHMAZING! But today I had to post about the most rudest customer that was here, he was going on and on about how his baby was being treated without his consent (which is a lie, they tell you way in advance what gets done and what is on your plan) and about how he was in a rush to go (they are also a little busy) and Katie was the most professional person with everything she kept telling him. She really rocked being absolutely professional and sweet to this man. Go ahead Katie!

Took our puppy in for a check up and didn't want her in a cage because last time she got sick. They accommodated what I asked and I am so thankful. Thank you to the whole team for their efforts

Going to be looking for a new vet soon…. So if you like spending money then come here. I called for an appt. Because my dog had diarrhea and they wanted to charge me $360 for tests( I am already on their monthly plan too). It sometimes feel like a waste to be on plan when I’m going to be charged so much for a lot of things that are not included.I will say Melissa was very helpful when I came back to pick up my dog but there was another girl with glasses who I did not get her name who was rude. I tried to ask them a simply question and she kept trying to talk over me and not acknowledge that I was trying to ask something while the system was supposedly slow. I’ve just come out of Banfield always in a bad mood honestly more times than not. They always put you on hold when you call so be prepared to wait. I wonder if it’s just this location specifically but they only got 3 star reviews for a reason.

I was also hesitant about coming here based on some of the reviews, but ended up having an awesome visit. From the first call to the actual visit it was a pleasant experience. The staff and Dr were all helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and patient, and we were in and out in a timely manner. Special shout out to the ladies up front/assistants! You guys were so awesome to everyone that came through the door and us! You guys rock!!
