On 7/29, I called ahead and spoke with Mike to let him know AAA would be dropping off my vehicle due to a failed alternator. Mike was professional, took my info, and that was that. On 7/30, Mike called asking where the keys were and mentioned the car had a flat. We agreed to replace the alternator and the tire nothing more. Then Roger calls. First time I’m hearing from him, and he starts going off about head gaskets, spark plugs, and a diagnostic test I never asked for. I stopped him and said, “Who told you to run a diagnostic? The car was towed in I know what’s wrong.” He couldn’t even tell me how long the repairs would take. It was obvious he was trying to upsell unnecessary work. I told him: Replace the alternator, fix the flat, and stop pushing nonsense. He said he’d call back with pricing. Never did. On 7/31, I show up. The car’s still in the bay. Mike says they “fixed the oil leak.” Excuse me? When did I agree to that? Then Roger shows up and straight lies to my face saying, “You told me to take care of everything.” No, I didn’t. Long story short: they did extra work I never approved and handed me a bill for $1,700 on what should’ve been a $500 job. Roger tried to smooth it over saying they gave me a coupon. What a joke. I filed a complaint with corporate and they’re reviewing the call recordings. If they don’t resolve it in 3–5 business days, I’ll file with the state. To all customers especially veterans be careful. Record your calls, research your issue, and never walk into a shop empty handed. Buy your parts first, pay only for labor. And always get a second opinion. Learn from my experience or get played like I did.

🚨 Beware: Price Gouging and Poor Service at Occoquan Exxon 🚨
Got a flat tire from a simple screw on my commute and stopped by Occoquan Exxon since it was nearby. The service manager came out and assured me they’d take care of it. Once my car was in the shop, he hit me with a $149 charge to patch the tire—a job that typically costs $30–$50. I felt trapped and reluctantly agreed.
I then asked if they could do a tire rotation for that price. He vaguely said he’d “take a look.” When the job was done, the bill jumped to $179.95, including a $35.99 tire rotation fee.
To make matters worse, the tire rotation was done incorrectly. For an AWD vehicle, the correct pattern is a “rearward cross,” but they just swapped front tires with rear tires on the same side—a lazy and incompetent shortcut.
This place is dishonest, opportunistic, and unprofessional. They clearly took advantage of my urgent situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid Occoquan Exxon at all costs.

Dude out front really didn’t exchange the scratch off that I bought from there, apparently no cash for small change. Not to mention I told him im going use some to get more. Rude about it since I had to wait for him to get off the phone to attend a customer, must have got him upset I ask for his service. It’s obvious they don’t want my business

I stopped in on thursday on my way home from pennsylvania, going to north carolina. Next thing, my tire pressure was down. I was in a panic and pulled in to this station. Turns out, I ran over a big piece of metal. The two gentlemen, we're so nice and efficient.I don't even know what to say!!!!! I had my three teenage girls with me, and we had three hours left to go home. They showed me what was wrong with the tire. He talked to my husband on the phone, and they had me in and out and fifteen minutes and back on the road. Although it was 57 dollars for a patch it was still worth it to me. And it got me home and still holding, losing no tire pressure. These guys could not have been any more nicer. And I had to force them to take a four dollar tip, because it's all the cash I had on me.

Inspection was fast. I had a broken fog light and they explained to me why it had to come out to pass and discounted me for the labor. Luis N was very helpful!

I recently had an oil change done on my 2013 Honda Accord, which has over 200,000 miles, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received from Luis N. and the staff. Their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were outstanding. Despite my car's high mileage, Luis N. handled the service with care and precision, ensuring everything was done efficiently. He took the time to explain the process and even provided helpful maintenance tips to keep my car running smoothly. If you're looking for a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic, I highly recommend Luis N. I’ll definitely be returning for future services!

I had to get my car serviced immediately before we went out of town. The manager, Luis, made efforts to fit me in, set me up on wifi so that I was able to continue my work day, and got me on my way. I appreciate service that goes above and beyond.

I have been bring my vehicles to this shop for many years now for any work that needs to be done. Steve and Mike are excellent. Vehicle maintenance, state inspections, and gas. I haven't trusted any other shop as much as I trust them.

Good quality of service. Decided to bring my car here in 2023 due to dishonesty from the last place I used to take my cars too. They also get me in and out very quickly and staff very polite. Luis N is very helpful.
