I called today to see if they had a furnace ignitor in-stock - come to find out, they don't see to homeowners. Honestly, that's really disappointing since I was trying to support a local business but was turned away.On a positive note, the two representatives that I spoke to on the phone were friendly.

Ferguson HVAC. You do not sell parts to non contractors due to supposedly "safety concerns". Maybe non of the Auto parts stores should also NOT sell parts to non contractors, since they sell parts such as brake pads, calipers, and many other parts that if installed improperly could cause very serious injuries resulting in death. Maybe the solution would be to stop dealing with any "contractor" who purchases parts or equipment from Ferguson or any other such Draconian companies that knowingly cause "contractors" to artificially inflate their prices and "pull a fast one over their innocent customers eyes". CHANGE YOUR USELESS RESTICTIVE POLICY.

Will not sell to non contractors.. this is a legacy way of doing things Ferguson HVAC!! You are located in an extremely populated are and this is a great opportunity for additional traffic to your business. I can get a very basic part shipped next day from amazon. Instead you turn away customers, you could have had that business.
