Store is a mess!!!! Yelled at not only once but twice. About being in an area they are setting up a display. Then yelled out for bouncing a ball in the store even though they have a court. Was then told at checkout that next time not allowed to bring drinks in. Even though they sell drinks in the store. Have never been told I could never bring in a drink. Never returning. Never had this issue ever before. The checkout person was also hovering over me as I was checking out after telling me I could not have a drink.

Workers are rude, store is a mess, but they probably aren’t paid enough. Five below has really done a nosedive the past couple years and it’s not going to recover.

i walked in with an empty boba cup and a young woman approached me saying “you’re not allowed to have drinks in here.” as i was walking out to throw my cup away, the lady i assume was Leslie the manager yelled at me in a nasty tone saying drinks are not allowed here. i understand the store policy but the yelling and unnecessary tone was extremely rude. i was going to shop but i left the store immediately.

I was here yesterday for back to school shopping with my kids.
The manager - a lady by the name of Lesley yelled at my children and I as soon as we walked in “!! NO FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED !!”
We have flasks with cold water in them everywhere we go. It’s 90 degrees outside. We were planning on shopping. We were not planning on having a picnic in there.
Now, I’m not arguing the store policy. I just don’t appreciate the tone that was used.
The store itself is a mess and it was too much trouble to go digging around so we left. The manager was yelling at people the entire time we were there.
In short the store is disorganized and the manager screams at you by way of welcome.

I am just leaving out of this store. My daughter purchased a Bubba tea and walked in while I was standing there looking at water cups for school shopping. One young lady walk up as my daughter just walked it and say you can't have drinks in the store. Then I said where is your manager she said right behind you and she said the say thing with her told of voice as if I was a child. People these days have no customer service skill,no manners nor good verbal skill that should be well mannered. The signs she be Big on the outside and not paper on the side and wall for some people just walk in to be focus on what they are going to get.I do not recommend shopping here. Never ever. Common sense is there are food places all around and you should know people will walk in with good and drinks. Yet be nice about it.

Rudest manager ever who doesn’t have a key for locked products ? Why lock them up if you don’t have a key to open them ? Leslie the manager needs to find a new job if she’s just gonna be mad at world for asking a question . Don’t recommend this store at all !

My kids and I have been shopping at this store for a while now, whoever this manger is, her name is Lesley or Leslie , idk how she spells her name is very unpleasant and unprofessional! Not only was she talking on her personal cellphone, talking to a man, on speakerphone, all whilst she was yelling across the room telling somebody (a staff member I’m guessing) to go on her break because she had got in at 11o’clock. I am very disappointed. Over the years , I’ve always felt welcomed, yesterday was just another experience. I witnessed this same lady tell another customer “didn’t you read the sign?! It says no food or drinks allowed, so either you toss your drinks out or you get out of my store” I mean the professionalism isn’t there! While I was in the store I never got her name, so when my kids and myself were bullied inside this store, and decided not to purchase anything, when I got to my car and called the store and ask for a manger, she had answered the phone , I said “excuse me , who am I speaking with?” She very aggressively said “well this is five below, who do you want to speak to?!” I said “I want to speak to manager” she never put me on hold, she basically put the phone down then came back with a whole other attitude saying “thank you for calling five below this is Lesley speaking how can I help up you?” But the damage has been done. Please, if you’re having a bad day, do not take it out on your customers. Bc we’re there to shop, to spend our heart earned money.. If it’s ever a problem, please take it up with me. My kids are 6 and 10 years old, Lesley speaking to them so aggressively and disrespectful was very uncomfortable and unnecessary. Woman to woman, sis, please do better

If I could have the option of not giving a star, I would give it just to go in to see the notebooks and a worker on top of me telling me how I should leave the products organized, so that she knows I don't have to do her job nor did I have any interest in buying anything, With that type of service I would never arrive again.

The manager Leslie is the NASTIEST person I ever met. For a manager of 5 BELOW! She treat her job like she’s a warden of a prison. She was following my sister and I around having a loud phone call where her and I can hear it talking about us and how she thinks we were stealing and there should be camera pointed at us. I believe she thought I was a teenager but I am a grown woman and if this is how she treat young adult she needs professional help. She belittle the customers that ask her for help and she tells so loud and over protective of item that are all 5 or less. She needs to be fired. IMMEDIATELY.
