They need more small carts! They used to only have a few, now it seems like they have only one or two. These carts are in high demand, I always see customers looking around for them. It's also annoying to see that the employees use a couple for their own purposes, so there are even fewer in rotation than there could be. All of the other grocery stores in town have many more small carts. GET MORE SMALL CARTS!

Went in on a Friday to refill BP med script. Pharmacist said they needed to special order and it would be in Tuesday. Leaving with only 2 doses for the weekend. Call back Tuesday and she tells me it’s now Wednesday instead. After complaining that I was out of medication, she says she has 60 on shelf! So why didn’t she give me the 60 the first time on Friday when I let them know I’m almost out? She tried to play it off as a manufacturer delay but in reality I could have had at least most of my meds Friday, saving me from going without for a couple days (not good to go without BP meds abruptly). So overall poor customer service and poor attention to patient care. So at the end of the day I ended up getting part of my script (which is no issue) but I could have had it Friday and not have to have gone without in the first place potentially risking my health or I could have called around and had it transferred to someone else who did have it in stock before ran out. Also when you call them you have to wait and let the phone ring for 15 minutes before they pick up the phone.

The store overall is great. Pharmacy has gone down hill. Several times I have had prescriptions sent electronically by providers that took days to get filled and that was after I called to see if they were filled.

I didnt want to give any star but to post my comment i had to give one start. Well Worst Giant pharmacy service, (lakeridge, 22192). Never answer calls right away, and on top of, never receive the prescriptions on time, its always delay 2-3 days and one prescription that I received like after 12 days.

I love this giant, it’s convenient and hardly ever busy. One issue though, employees smoking near the entrance and near the carts. Tall Caucasian lady, typically I see handling pickup orders, was right in front of the entrance. Some people have an irritation to cigarette smoke or health issues.

Safety first! Stopped at the deli last night and the young man behind the counter was cleaning up. He approached us and we advised what we needed. As he walked to get the food items, I watched and waited to see if he'd change his gloves; he didn't. So we asked him to do so. He also had his mask on his chin instead of his mouth/nose. We maintained our distance and surely had on our masks. The young man began to cut the meat and placed the meat on the scale, he then disappeared with the meat still on the square. We stood there waiting for him to return, unsure if he went to the bathroom, a break or home he walked away without communicating. Finally he returned with a box in hand; it was the baggies for the meat. No problem. He took a bag out the box and then picked up the meat to place in the bag. Second time he didn't feel it was necessary to change his gloves. No problem. I told hubby let's go, meat isn't that important because I'm not going to explain to someone how they need to do their job. I'm sure he was advised when he signed up for it. Store staff should be practicing food safety at all times and wearing their mask...WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC!

I spoke with Mary on the phone and she was absolutely incredible. I have contacted all the CVS pharmacies and none of them even answers the phone and I got tired of listening to the awful music they were playing. Feel free to contact me if you need more information but Mary at giant pharmacy was absolutely incredible and answered the phone on 4 rings

i've been using the Giant pharmacy here for ten years and this is the first time i've had problems with them...great service, customer interactions, very professional but they are lagging behind getting prescriptions filled as they are back logged with covid and flu vaccines and the pharmacist is the only one who can give vaccines. suggest hiring an extra person who just gives vaccines so the pharmacist can care foe pharmacy patients. otherwise i love the store, their service and selection

Thank you Giant and Misty at the customer service desk! We needed help a couple weeks ago and Misty was very polite and helpful. This Giant is where we’ve shopped for over 20 years and our neighborhood is is lucky to have this store to shop at:)
