Was very disappointed to have driven a long way to pick up some items to find out their new hours. Their website, app, Google maps, and other sites say they close at 9:00 PM and when I arrived they had closed at 7:00. I understand staff is not at fault however it would’ve been nice had they posted updated hours with something more than a sign on the front door.

It seems like since the pandemic they have gotten rid of there quality employees and are now hiring kids that have no craft experience and don't care about anything. This new manager that they put in last year has allowed the store to become utter trash. I used to spend alot of money at Joanns but now I avoid it. It is sad to see how few people are in the store. And I really believe that goes to them hiring the wrong people.

How can I rate them? The website says they close at 9pm. I go by at 6pm and they are closed. I go again at 5:30pm and despite the 6pm posting, they're still closed!

Lousy customer service. One lady in front of me checking out and when she finished I walked up to checkout. At that time the phone rang, so the cashier answered the call and instead of putting the call on hold and checking me out, she conducted business with customer on the phone who wanted information on some product. The cashier lays the phone down and says "I'll be with you in a minute". She then proceed to walk all the way to the back of the store and is gone for several minutes. I put my items on the counter and walked out. Cashier should have put the call on hold or transferred it to someone else. I was there before the call in, so that makes me next in line. Please train your employees better. I left and went over to Hobby Lobby to purchase my items.

This place is a complete horror show. The place is in disarray, they have very little stock in sewing accessories, their online inventory doesn't come close to matching what is actually in stock, and their fabric selection is pretty poor. It's unfortunate that that they are pretty much the only game in town. I like to support local but places like this are why Amazon is killing it.

Do not ever plan to come here anytime after 4:00 PM, as the hours have likely changed without you knowing it. Yesterday it was posted that they closed at 7pm. Today its 6 pm. It's been literally a day.Been frequenting this Jo Ann as a local for -years- and all of a sudden within the last handful of months the place has.. Well.. Fallen from grace is an understatement. As a crafter and frequent sewer I constantly visit because I'd need new thread spools, new paints, etc almost weekly but now at this point I travel to literally any other Jo Ann store or order online.Disorganized and very frequently unstocked shelves, nobody working knows where anything is located, hours are different every week if not every few days, etc. It's not worth it. I don't know what happened to this place, but it just flat out sucks now.

the staff seem unhappy to be there. store is super disorganized. store hours posted on the door change every week and never match what google/website says.

No one could show me where the muslin was but I shouldn't even need to ask. Many items had no prices and no percent off signs. The rows of fabric were much too sloppy.

I don't leave many negative reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience. I got an email saying that my online order was ready for pickup, so I left work at 5 and came straight here only to find at the store is closing at 5pm for the next 4 or 5 days. But lo, here Comes an employee who can certainly grab my order which is just hopefully sitting behind the counter a few feet away! Alas, I'll hope is lost when I am rudely informed the store is closed and the door is shut.Sadly this is my only time here for the next two weeks so I will be looking to return the order online for a refund.UPDATE: my work schedule changed and I was able to stop by again last night. Though I thought ahead and called to make sure they were open and to see if they had my order. They said they would be open until 7:00, but cannot seem to find my order. I was politely informed that I had not come soon enough and that's the only hold it a week. The irony! It had been just 6 days since it had arrived, and of course the drama of me going the first day and not being let in to pick it up which I explained above.I'm happy to report that I called the corporate helpline from the email and got the refund processed very quickly with no issue :)

Messiest and most disorganized store other than the dollar tree. Also hardly saw any employees doing anything. They were out of stock of so many things, specially thread.

i came in at around 6:55 unaware that you close a 7, completely understandable however don’t allow people in your store if your going to tell them to leave at 7 sharp. i came to the store for a small sewing repair kit and was headed up front to pay when i stopped to look at some beads. my point is i’ve never heard of employees hunting costumers down that came in previous to closing and telling them to leave straight like that. not only the questionable approach telling me to leave however, one employee noticed me and couldn’t talk to me him self so he left a snarky remark to his coworker, which made her come up to me instead.

Just visited store in Woodbridge VA, one of the ladies working in store was so rude, I couldn’t believe it. I have worked customer service for ever and that was really bad. I usually just let it go but she is just rude.. I spoke to manager, she apologized for her. I do not feel any better about my experience. Cashier was very pleasant.

A black old lady is Store manager at this location she is extremely stupid and lies to customers, I am surprised she's a Store manager by the way she talks to customers and tricks customers,My recommendation for all customers be careful at this store.

AWFUL. I live an hour away from this store and called prior to making the drive up here, was told that they had the fabric in stock (the website also confirmed this) and would have my order ready before I arrived, I drove up to the store and it was not ready, allegedly, they couldn’t find the fabric, I told them I’d try to find it myself and it’s no wonder they couldn’t find it, the store is dirty and unorganized, fabric laying everywhere, and the staff is rude and unwilling to help. As I was trying to locate the fabric I needed, they cancelled my order, I finally gave up after nearly a half hour of looking, wasted my time and gas, I will never shop here again and I encourage everyone else to avoid this store.

Love Joanns, I would rather go there than other store in area. Friendly people, sweet cashier.
