First time buying a car with Koons Kia.
I was VERY happy and would (and have) recommend them to my friends. Nadar was my salesman who took me thru the buying process with courtesy and was empathetic from start to finish. He does this job every day, but for me, I was a bit nervous and he was just perfect and patient with me!
I look forward to a long term/happy relationship with Koons Kia!

I did my research online and decided to travel 4 hours away to purchase my 3rd K5 with Koons Kia! I inquired about the one I wanted and AJ reached out not long after. I explained my concerns and he was so helpful. I applied online and was approved so fast! I made arrangements to get the vehicle 2 days later. Once I arrived AJ and the finance manager were both so nice and personable. They made me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase. I would recommend them over and over again! 10/10 the best experience we have ever had a dealership! Can’t recommend Quentin (I might be spelling his name wrong) enough! He was respectful, kind and took all our concerns/requests seriously! Same with the finance gentlemen we dealt with! Guy was great and helped us get the price we wanted! These two guys were the dream team! Quentin wasn’t pushy or abrasive which is hard to find in a dealership! It was a fresh of breath air. He got me my dream car and appreciate everything he did! Seriously can’t recommend him enough! It felt like buying a car from family/friend not a stranger. Kia in Woodbridge has the best prices around as well! We drove 1.5 hours to get there and it was worth every minute.

I expected a better experience from this dealership, something different from the typical frustrations people describe when dealing with car service departments. Instead, my experience has been nothing but exhausting. My first claim for a check engine light (small evap leak, code P0456) was on September 8th. Since then, the same code has reappeared on September 19th, October 3rd, October 17th, and again on October 24th.
I’ve only had this car since July 4th, which means I barely had two months of normal use before constant issues began. Every visit produced the same diagnostic code, yet each time the dealership claimed to find a “deeper” issue. After the most recent diagnostic, I was told the problem was electrical but that the car was safe to drive. I followed their advice, and within weeks I saw fuel leaking from the tank and smelled gas inside and outside the car.
On November 20th, I brought the car back and was finally told it was unsafe to drive and that the entire fuel tank needed to be replaced. The digital UVO system has also been overheating. To make matters worse, the replacement fuel tank they ordered was misplaced due to negligence, which forced them to reorder it and left me without my car even longer.
My warranty covers a rental, but now they don’t have any available. A manager claimed they would submit a request through Hertz and promised to call me back that afternoon. Three and a half hours passed with no update. When I called back, I learned that the manager had already left for the day and wouldn’t return until Monday.
At this point, I’ve spent over $1,000 in deductibles on a car I’ve owned for only four months. The lack of attention to detail and the poor communication at this dealership are serious problems. Their shuttle only operates within six miles, and I live twenty miles away, so I’ve had to rely on Ubers to get back and forth, often only to be told I’d need to return again. When I contacted the warranty company myself, they said they were still waiting on information from the dealership and its technicians, which only reinforces the communication issues.
It’s hard not to believe this all could have been resolved during the first visit if they had taken a thorough look at my car. Initially they said nothing was wrong. Then they blamed the gas cap, which I paid to replace. After that, it was the canister. Then it became an electrical issue, with a part that takes months to arrive. And now it is a full fuel tank replacement.
It’s unreasonable for a loyal customer to pay out of pocket for problems that should have been addressed from the very beginning, even before the vehicle was sold. I’m exhausted from this process, and I’m sure they are just as tired of seeing me as I am of making the trip out there.
My advice: if you take your vehicle to their service shop, stay on top of them because they will brush you off if you don’t. And if you are considering buying a car from them, make sure they inspect it thoroughly, inside and out, before you finalize your purchase.

I wish my experience was like some of these other reviews. I'm going on my one year anniversary of regret. The experience was not quick and efficient, despite picking my vehicle before showing up. They did not give me the loan numbers that we had agreed upon. But most importantly, they sold me car w obvious a defects. Brakes have squealed, transmission has been problematic (literally stopped working and wouldn't shift gears), and the rear bump stocks were rusted and busted. I've spent at least 10k just keeping it going. All of this happened on a quick turn around and, when I reached out to them, they ghosted me. Then I left a review and they reached out, so I explained and sent them pictures... and they ghosted me again. Hoping to save someone else the hassle, buy from someone else!

This dealership was nothing like I could have ever imagined, AJ was not just a salesperson he turned into family, my wife and I just moved back home from serving the red white & blue; I was looking for anything that would help reestablish my credit & he got me approved for my BRAND NEW KIA.
