Working alongside Shamea Robinson, you can see that the community is dedicated to the well being of the property and wants the best for their members here. I would highly suggest this community to live in as there is true care from the management staff.

I don't like giving very low ratings and don't unless it's deserved. I had a very rocky experience when I first moved in. As you will see, my original review was much better due to the fact that a member of Senior Leadership stepped in and resolved all of my concerns.1. Since the last review, there were ongoing issues with roaches and sewer flies. I asked to stay on the list each week and they couldn't even get that together. Pest Control would miss our building sometimes 2-3 times in a row. I had to constantly call the office to remind them to keep me on the list until the issue in the building was resolved. The problem was coming from the apartment above me and it was so bad, the company that removed everything from the apartment was in full hazmat. I questioned why it took so long for management to resolve this. Our whole building was infested!2. Communication with the office was horrible. The office was never fully staffed, phones weren't getting answered, emails weren't being responded to and half the time the doors were locked.3. Maintenance. Don't get me started on this subject. Although they were very nice, the response time was insane. The work was mediocre and urgency was not a part of their vocabulary. I had multiple leaks in my apartment. Random leaks in my daughter's room from the laundry area, a total of 3 leaks. NEVER ADDRESSED PROPERLY. Carpet wasn't changed. At one point, a technician came out, pulled up the carpet at the threshold, removed a couple pieces of padding and taped it back down. No one ever returned! There were two leaks in the hall bathroom, again, NOT ADDRESSED PROPERLY. Both times the technician came in, looked at the ceiling, poked a couple tiny holes and left. Never returned. In-fact, after the second leak, I noticed a huge water spot in the ceiling of the dining area. The other leak happened when I called the office and told them that the toilet in the master bedroom was gurgling and acting funny. I asked them to send someone out before it over-flowed. Yeah, you guessed it, no one showed. Two days later, the toilet over-flowed so badly, water was all over the bathroom floor and it went into the bedroom carpet, went under the vanity and into my closet! The water kept coming out. AGAIN, not properly addressed. Carpet was never changed, nothing!4. Mold - I decided I was going to move out. Approximately 2 weeks before I was scheduled to move out, my special needs daughter got very sick and caught bronchitis out of the blue. The week I was to move, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. Mind you, I have never in my life had pneumonia and my daughter has never had bronchitis. I reported the issue of possible mold, asked to have someone come out and take a look, do a moisture reading and check behind the drywall. The only thing the tech did, days later was bring a reader into one bathroom and stated she was getting a reading of 25. You would think that more steps would have been taken after that. NOT. I had one of my professionals come do a reading and the moisture was 99% in both bathrooms! I requested they come and pull the drywall again and of course, no response at all!5. Refund - It's been almost 30 days and no check in the mail. Grant it, they have up to 45 to get your money to you, however, the amount of my refund was determined the second week of November and I was told the refund was disbursed to me. Trying to get ahold of someone to track it has been horrible. The new Assistant isn't helpful and in fact she's rude. I never received the proper walk through because it was never scheduled and a pre-move out inspection never happened either.6. Ownership-BH Management used to manage this property and since the owners have taken over (Capital Square Living) getting a hold of someone in the corporate office is basically a no go.7. The Good - Shamea was tasked with cleaning up someone else's mess. She's professional and understanding, My advice to her would be to communicate more

My wife and I have lived in Misty Ridge for nearly 9 years. There are two issues living here, speeding in the parking lots and people not picking up after their dogs. Maintenance and office staff have always be courteous and timely, but there is only so much they can do regarding these issues.I think our parking lots could use speed bumps. I don’t know what could be done about the negligent pet owners. There are plenty of dog stations that are usually stocked with bags. I have a dog, and enjoy the dog park and the stations.

Won't call back when you request the office to call you back (she also said she emailed me when she clearly did not). On top of that every time I call it says the office is closed. -10/10. As someone that works in the profession of customer service myself I would recommend losing the attitude and gain some professionalism.

This neighborhood is literally one of the scariest neighborhoods I've been to in Va! First of all I visit my friend from time to time and for moths I seen occupied apartments with huge windows broken into on a apartment and not to mention my friends door hardly works we get stuck most of the times just trying to open the door to get out the apartment!! Seriously I even speed walk to my car at knight beacuse it's guys walking around with mask looking into and opening up peoples car doors and taking whatever they please.Don't waste ur time here one of the WORST NEIGHBORHOODS IN WOODBRIDGE!

Misty Ridge is a clean, quiet and peaceful environment. When you get home, you feel relaxed and comfortable. The staff at the office are warm welcoming, and patient. If there is an issue at your home, it is resolved within days. I like it here and would recommend it to anyone.

Don't recommend! Don’t believe reviews. There has already been 2 shootings in this community. One someone passed from. And the other the persons car was shot at . On top of that maintenance over promises and doesn’t commit. Pest control and regular maintenance isn’t done routinely. You have to request for pest control and request for a new filter and put it in yourself. There is no checking to see if things are up to par in the apartments. I’ve been told multiple times they are going to come and fix an issue and it’s always delayed or i have to call to get the action started. It’s unfortunate when you’re inconvenienced because they are not quick to help you resolve issues in your unit. Don’t tell someone you’re going to come and don’t come and then when they call about it you claim you came but didn’t leave a note, call to let me know you’re coming and so on. I’ve had issues since I’ve moved into these apartments and it’s just lack of customer service and lack of quality. With improvement they can be great but at this moment, it’s lacking customer service big time.

Having more than one person working in the office on Saturdays is necessary. I had a guided tour scheduled at 10 am, but when I arrived, only one associate was present. While waiting in the lobby, another couple arrived and inquired about a showing. I informed them that I believed there was only one person available to assist us. They waited for a few minutes before leaving. Soon after, an individual and a family of three also arrived and sat down. I waited for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Finally, when I stood up, the associate approached me and asked how they could assist me. I explained that I was there for a guided tour and was informed that they would help me once they finished with the first couple setting up their apartment. Seeing that eight people were in the lobby with only one associate working, I decided to leave and explore another property. It is important for offices that are open on Saturdays to have a minimum of three staff members to ensure customers do not have to endure long waits when appointments have been scheduled.

I lived here for 13 months and I have nothing to say, but great things about management and the maintenance staff. If you need something to get fixed— it gets fixed right away! I liked how respectful Misty Ridge is in regards to walking in to your apartment whenever needed.Elise, the assistant manager, was very professional and understanding. She provided me with information on how to get my deposit back and a refund for an extra payment that I had made on my last month there. On top of that, she listens to your concerns and takes action immediately:)If it wouldn’t because I am moving to Texas I would have renewed my lease.

I'm not the one to leave a review but Misty Ridge has been AMAZING! They helped me with everything I needed from signing my first lease to leaving. I don't know what would have happen if they weren't able to work with me. I am forever grateful for their help and support!

I am not a tenant yet but I am hoping to apply very soon based off of not only the cute upgraded units, but the very friendly pleasant staff. Both times I've came in, everyone in the office is very helpful, patient, accommodating and not pushy at all. definitely qualities you want in the team you rent from. I'm hoping living there is just as nice☺️??

We have lived here about a year now. It has been fine, some crime here and there. Close to mall, and schools are a plus. The gym is decent, could use more weights. They probably got stolen because I had been going since moving in and now they only have like three. The only thing we have experienced that has been a pain is our washer broke, which the place they order it from has them on back order. They told me the place was getting them two weeks ago, and now no one is getting back to us. We are spending $50-$60 a week at the laundromat right now. So it would be nice to get a washer before it hits two months without one. With kids having a washer comes in handy, one of the reasons why we picked this complex. Without one it has been a pain.
