Had a great experience with Dr. Patel who saw my daughter and I today. We were also pleased with the service we received from Angela, she was attentive and informative. What I was not pleased with was another staff member slight annoyance when Angela asked for assistance. I work in customer service and can see when co-workers...don't care for each other, it shouldn't be seen by customers, I tell my staff the same. I gave 5 stars because the service I received warranted it, and one person should not be the reflection of the office.

Great service with Angela today and Dr. Patel. While I waited I had a wonderful conversation with Kimberly. I was having my glasses adjusted . All is well again. I went to some contacts today and it feels so good not to have my glasses on! Thanks team!!!!

My experience of My Eye Doctor I went in today March 11 to pick up my glasses that were supposed to be delivered on March 8 and they were given to somebody else on 8 March. This is wrong. I've contacted corporate and I'm gonna call the office manager at the Eye Doctor tomorrow And let her know of my experience. I am so mad I can eat nails and spit.

Bad customer service, they take the money of the order of contact lenses, and said it will be arrive within 3-5 days, after 10 days i went to them and they said it was mistake that they didn’t put the order, and they put it and will arrive within 3 days, and now after 10 days they said it will be arrive next week, even the samples of the contact when they gave it to me after 10 days it appears both of them left, i will never go to them anymore, really bad customer service. I put two stars just because they were polite.

Service has gone downhill here. If orders are ready for pick-up, receiving a notification would be nice. My glasses have been gone for a month (since Jan 14) with this practice, no calls or emails or texts regarding any order updates (and it was a simple order too - replacing lenses in existing frames), and I call today for them to tell me that my glasses have been there since the 1st of this month. “It should’ve texted to the number on file.” Why is texting the only communication? Why not an actual email with an order update that’s linked to my appointment? Or, idk, a courtesy call if you still have completed orders just sitting around catching dust? How else would I have known my glasses were ready if I didn’t call????

The worse place. They cancelled my appointment because I didn’t confirm appointment. Never received call or text. No advance notice of policy also didn’t fit me in at another time. They need to adjust this policy or let clients know. Will never go there again.

I went in person to schedule an appointment. On the appointment day, i was told i did not confirm my appointment. I spoke to their representative to confirm my appointment. Oh you did not confirm via text or email? huh , i spoke with someone on the phone Ma’am to confirm. Well we can not see you at the time you scheduled the appointment. Since i was paying for this appointment i had the choice of leaving which i did. My money, my choice! I have options and i will chose where to spend it. Never again

Edit: I reached out to the customer service. And Ms. Whitcomb resolved my issue. She's an amazing person. 5 stars for her!If you want to waste 2-3 hours of your time, definitely visit this pathetic place. The incompetence is astounding. The idiots don't take the time to explain the cost of eye exam and charge for services you don't need. Was supposed to pay 10 dollars for an eye exam but ended by paying 50 cause they tacked on extra services that I did not need or ask for.

This USED to be the best place in Woodbridge for all your optometry needs, and now it’s just a disappointment. This place is filled with rude folks who work there and always have an attitude. WHY WORK - if you really don’t want to work or be there?! Go home. I was a long time client and now no longer - I was a bit late to my appointment today and Kim with the long bright red hair claimed that they have a 5 minute grace period and then the appointment has to be rescheduled to another day. Since when?! I was 6-7 minutes late and was told I could not be helped. Mind you they still claim to take in walk-ins - so you have enough time for someone without an appointment to come in but not someone who’s running a bit late? Ridiculous. Plus, you have about 5 other people just standing around doing nothing - so it wasn’t like the store was busy you just didn’t want to service me. Totally cool - my family and I will go elsewhere.

They accept my medicaid which is getting more difficult to find, so that's a plus. My only issues were the out of pocket expenses (not their fault, insurance did not cover a detailed eye scan or the bifocals I needed but could not afford) & the lack of ~cool styles~ for people on an extreme budget. I'll have to get readers off Amazon &/or wait until October 2024 for a pair of reading & computer glasses ?♀️?♀️

Ms. Angela is the best. She dedicated her time and patience to provide us with the best experience possible for my family. She didn't mind the entra attention to detail and explaining our insurance coverage and frame choices. We easily looked at 50 pairs of frames and she was just so awesome. Thank you for everything. She's super amazing!!!

I went to your store located at 14465 Potomac Mills RdWoodbridge, VA 22192, where I was harassed by your employee Angie. My front desk experience was lovely, my eye exam went very well. The eye doctor told me to go and try on frames and select what I like, and someone will call my name shortly... great. As I'm trying on frames (designer), Angie from across the room yells "someone lock the case, the case needs to be locked". Mind you, she's working with another customer, but very worried about what I was doing. None of the nearby employees listened to her and one actually asked me if I wanted a tray to hold the frames I liked. Angie yells again (from across the room) that case needs to be locked. At this point I'm embarrassed as everyone in the store is now looking at me. Angie then approaches me to tell me that I cannot touch the frames without assistance, so I asked will she be assisting me. She stated that she was with a customer but she needs to lock the case that I'm looking at and she then walks away. At this point I kindly asked the front desk for a copy of my prescription and I'll spend my money elsewhere and buy my TWO pair of designer frames elsewhere. It was rude and embarrassing and she didn't make that big of a deal when the prior TWO women were looking at that exact case of frames (I didn't unlock the case, it was unlocked when I walked over). It was only until I walked over, when it became an issue. Maybe it was because I was in a sweat suit, and baseball cap, maybe it was my race. All I know is that Angie shouldn't be working with customers with that attitude. I just finished an eye exam where you have my name, address, place of employment, and insurance info, but I'm going to steal a pair of frames???!!!
