Doing well considering we are in a pandemic, So a few weeks ago with this heat wave, I went to Safeway to pup a couple things as I finished up, I became dizzy, sweaty, like I was gonna pass out, so the cashier on duty (nurse) saw me and said sit down by the time I did they had given me water called a ambulance they came was transported to ER those 15mins caused a heat stroke. I just want to say thank you to the manager and cashier's for assistance. I really appreciate all you did. Just thank you,

Zulma from the Safeway Bakery was excellent and extraordinary worker. She was off already but I n eded to put greetings on my purchased ice cream so she did eith a smile and willingly. As we are leaving the store on her way out being off already, she helped the two co workers to put out the patio set that needed for the door to be opened so held it patiently. She is very nice and accommodating an asset to your store. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs Michael

More like UN-Safeway.
I purchased some not-so-fresh seafood from Safeway County Center. I didn't know until I got it home. Took it back, and they replaced it with... more rotten seafood. This time it was frozen. Sneaky sneaky! I guess they'll sell you anything to consume, whether it's healthy or not. But seriously, the health department should do a serious check up on the seafood and probably a few more areas up in there.
Update, I tried to use Contact Us as advised and it was pointless. I guess that's some blanket response to make it seem like they actually care about what happened. Truth is they offered rotten seafood for sale, even after I brought it to the attention of the store. I just hope no one got sick.

I work around this emergency business!! ️ I come here ? every time I have come the customer service has been satisfactory in my humble opinion of course. The bundle of water ? is a bit affectionate ? (expensive).

In general, I like Safeway, but their latest sale is a sham. Advertised were 3 for $5.00 "Feed Meow Tummy" pouches. We thought, okay, let's see what our cat thinks. It was late, and the store was about to close, so we didn't pay attention to the original price. To our surprise, we found that we saved exactly 7(!) cents. Really? In my book, that's false advertisement as 7 cents for 3 items isn't really savings given that at $1.69 a piece, these pouches are rather expensive. I really have to rethink shopping there again...

This place stopped opening their doors at the hours they advertised. Also, I’m not talking about their hours as marked on google maps, I’m talking about the hours they have on their doors. But they sure do closed their doors at the right time during closing.

The lady from the bakery was rude. I asked for multi-grain bagels and she snapped. In addition, she was coughing continuously without a mask in front of food. This is very bad customer service and unsanitary.
