I’ve lived at Signal Hill Apartments and my experience have been incredibly frustrating. They raised my base rent by a staggering $600, which feels completely unreasonable. On top of that, they have been charging me for an extra parking space for almost 9 months, even though I don’t use or have it. Despite multiple emails and visits to the office, they’ve shown no interest in resolving this issue.
Another major problem is that they seem not to care about families with kids—there is no designated play area for children, making it an unfriendly environment for families.
If you’re considering living here, be prepared for poor management, arbitrary rent increases, and a lack of care for basic tenant concerns.

I have lived at a few complexes in northern Virginia and I will say none of them come close to how great our one man maintenance team is. Anthony is very professional and knowledgeable. I am always amazed at how quickly he is able to respond when I submit a maintenance request and he always ensures the problem is remedied before he leaves. One week he had to come to my unit two or three times, but always did so with a smile on his face and was happy to help! It is very nice to know no matter the issue, I do not need to worry because Anthony is always able to fix it!

Mr.Antthony Cruz is excellent at what he does my husband and I are very pleased with his work ethic as well as his customer service skills. He’s very efficient very cordial and very informative when we have questions very please with Antony and only want him as our service tech to come into our home.

I have throughly enjoyed my stay here at Signal Hill. The management staff especially Mr. Clark have provided phenomenal at customer service and very attentive to any and every issue to resolve them immediately.

The standard they once had that made it a luxury to stay there has waned. My time there, there were a litany of things that transpired: a shootout in the parking-lot of the Colony apartments, vehicle vandalism at the Sentry Falls key entry parking lot and the ongoing filth that they cannot seem to resolve with the trash compactors. For the price they sought, this is subpar. I will caution any and all who are considering to ask questions especially when it comes to the security of your vehicle(s).

been trying to get a hold of leasing office and leave 5 messages. But after seeing these review im glad that i did not become part of signal hills. Thanks for everyone honesty

Only giving one star because something has to be put in order to leave a review. This place is trash, and there is also trash piled everywhere around the trash compactors. The only nice thing about this place is the leasing office. Workers will gaslight you, then charge you for anything and everything without any notice. Even upon move-out, I am still getting charges mailed to me months after for things that I have PAID to have taken care of. No response from management. Now that I have posted a review, I will probably get a response. We will see.
Not to include the dog poop everywhere, the halls smell like mold, elevators are sketchy, and the maintenance men will make you feel uncomfortable.
10/10 would NOT recommend. Horrible experiences.

Not worth paying $1800+ for a 1 bedroom. Go elsewhere. Management consistently gaslit residents on things ranging from common maintenance to a elevators breaking down. Your mail and packages will get stolen so beware and trash is piled high and pet waste is not picked up. Additionally, the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors conversation. Please avoid.

Again, over a year after being moved out, customer service is lacking! I’ve reached out on multiple occasions to have a package checked on, due to it being sent to my old address and I just get ignored. So, unprofessional.
