I have an order to pickup in store, I couldn’t pick it up myself because I was very sick. They refused to give my order to my husband. I even opened the camera (FaceTime) with my ID! Someone claimed that she is the manager (refused to give her name) was very rude and unprofessional. I will never shop from children place again until they hire better staff.

I’m going to echo a lot from people below. The story is a mess. The line is always a long wait, no matter when you go. The employees are indifferent to your existence at best, or just flat out rude. And this company has the worst return policy I’ve ever seen in children’s clothing. Kids grow fast! If you’re gonna sell kids clothes you need to be more flexible with exchanges & returns.

If Children’s Place brand is looking to stay in business to serve our little ones then top mgt must look at what’s happening at the stores. Total negative customer experiences. Store managers at the Potomac Mills mall store are not serving loyal customers. Take a look at other reviews here from others. Shipment to store pick up ends up with missing items, disrespect, time wasting with no effort to solve problems. This is what happened to me and my little again. I’ll be taking the feedback to other outlets

This place is not good for kids shopping. Tha cashiers are too tired to work there. Potomac is a big place to shop on and they don’t have price check. Not good customer service at all. Their cashier needs break as they are too tired for ringing people. I was buying my kids clothes and they make me feel like i am making them tired and they are in such pain to ring those clothes for me. Worst experience ever. I left all the clothes there. Kids shopping should be a good and happy experience not that i want to make someone tired for ringing my shopping clothes for me. Either open a self check if you guys are too tired of working. If the cashiers are not interested to work they should change their work .

The staff are impolite/ unprofessional and when i asked for help from the manager finding a price on an item she told me she was busy stocking to go stand in line at the register.

This location and this company is an absolute joke some days. And not "haha funny"... I've made calls to this store and I've made calls to customer service; no one knows anything and no one can do anything. But who pays for it, the customer. After weeks of calling about what I thought was a simple order (2 - 2 pack uniform shirts) shipped to the store, I finally get a manager to tell me "your order is in and you have until the end of the day today to claim it. What happens with the email notification is not our fault; we have nothing to do with that". Just what customers want out of their retailers, no accountability...

I will NEVER do a pick up at this location again! Not only was the store is a dishoveled mess, but the staff could not find my sons order. They weren't helpful, didn't, said they had over 200 packages. It's not my fault your not better organized. I waited ovwr 30mins and had to continously ask where my order is. Icalled CS to cancel the order. Thankfully they did after my complaint, and gave me a refund. I'll never shop at this store again!

don't buy online items because when items get delivered and you never receive them at your door, the Children's Place aren't reliable for missed items or stolen items and all they say is to call the carrier like they will do much!

If there is no Star to give, I would be happy to offer. No Respect to customer especially from the manager with total disrespectful and Racist attitude. Moreover, she insisted that the shirt I want is 12$ and I informed her that Both the counter Label and Machine showing 7 $ as per attached Photo ( I was there March 29th, 2022 at 19:14). I’am truly disappointed that truly nice shop to let this kind of people to let there product and name to the ground, and most people giving bad reviews especially to this shop.

I went to this store to exchange a lot of clothes that were purchased in the wrong size. Ammiel was the associate who helped me for my exchanges. He took the time to fully explain the conditions for exchanging items, based on whether the preferred size is in stock or not, as well as any other options. I'll admit, I didn't go in with the best attitude but Ammiel was totally professional throughout my entire experience. He meticulously took the time to find all items that matched the clothes that I was exchanging. Out of all the times that I've been in any Children's Place, I think Ammiel's care, attention, and overall customer service was probably one of the best I've experienced. His customer service appeared genuine and Children's Place should hire more people with his customer service that emulates his. Lastly, Theraia (sp) rang up my final purchases and she was extremely nice and polite.
