I went to Ulta for a blowout and honestly had the worst experience. My stylist was Mitzi, and I could tell right away she wasn’t professional.
She washed my hair, and that part was fine, but as soon as we sat down in the chair for the blowout she looked at the other stylists and said, “She has so much hair,” while making a face. She said it loud enough for everyone to hear, and it made me feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Instead of treating me like a normal customer, she acted like my hair was a problem.
Then she kept calling other stylists over asking them to help her, which made me feel like she didn’t know what she was doing. A blowout is such a basic service—I’ve had it done plenty of times at the Stafford Ulta and they always do a great job.
When she started drying my hair, she turned the heat up so high that my scalp was burning. She kept going over the same spot again and again, and my head was literally hurting. I even flinched a couple of times, but she didn’t care or even bother to adjust.
Even after all that pain, my hair wasn’t done properly. Parts of it were still damp and the rest was puffy and frizzy. When she said she was done, I told her this didn’t look like a blowout at all, it just looked like she half dried my hair. She just shrugged and said, “That’s what I could do.”
What makes this worse is that under her name it says “Master Stylist.” She is not a master stylist at all. A real master stylist should know how to do a simple blowout and make their client feel good—not burn their scalp, leave their hair half wet, and act annoyed the whole time.
I walked out feeling upset, embarrassed, and like I had wasted my money. Normally when I get a blowout I leave feeling good and confident, but this time I left with frizzy, damp hair and a sore scalp.
I won’t ever book with Mitzi again, and honestly this makes me not even want to come back to this location. Ulta really needs to pay attention, because no customer should be treated the way I was.

Jocelyn working at Natasha Denona was the most helpful associate. So knowledgable with my finicky undertones and she was so quick to find my perfect concealer and foundation! Her skin was perfection.

Six months ago I came here to get my hair cut 💇♀️ But a black woman named Giti You may be familiar with its correct name The scissors damaged my hair a lot I don't know what kind of haircut she cut my hair with. He ruined it a lot. This is my opinion, never date her, or your hair will end up like mine That lady doesn't know anything about hair cut 💇♀️ I don't know why the company hired her to damage people's hair like mine. 😡

Don’t get me wrong I love an Ulta, I’m a loyalty customer their products are near unmatched. My thing is… the customer service could be a LOOOOT better. Every time I’m checking out it’s like the girls have a problem talking to me (although they can magically talk to each other no problem) spoke to a girl today didn’t even look me in the eye. Then had the gal to ask if I wanted to apply for the credit card. The answer is no regardless but maybe you guys would get more of a yes if the attitude wasn’t so poor 😀. Please work on customer interactions especially at checkout.

This Ulta is generally okay. The staff is typically polite. This was my first time actually leaving irritated. When its easy to drop $150-$300 everytime you come here, you expect the staff to know what comes with things they are offering for free. I purchased the Tart maracura juicy lip tint that had the dunkin key chain offer. Signage for this special don't specify which one the special applies to except that it had to be the Dunkin. Okay cool. At the register I asked about the keychains and the cashier tells me it's in the box. Second cashier cosigns on this. The box is the exact size as the product itself, so I knew that couldn't be right. So I checked the box after stepping outside having purchased the items. No key chain. I go back in, point out there was no keychain in it. The cashier says oh well its just this shade…. Ummmm what? That's not what the advertisement says and you just told me when I was in here buying It that I was in the box. She tells me she will check with management. So management comes and I let her know what was going on. Mind you, there is no yelling or anything going on. I just wanted her to know at this point all of her staff should be aware of what is and what is not available so that aren't inadvertently lying to their customers. We are all aware it's not purposeful. Her response of, well we all had to figure it out on our own, as if she has no way of ensuring all her staff are made aware. That's no how management works. If anything, put a sticky note next to the product in someones nicest handwriting to let customers know its only one shade and they are out of stock. The managers attitude in general and her literally just smirking like its ridiculous for a customer to be given accurate information. The fact that she wasn't dealing with a Karen and still giving off this kind of eyeroll attitude is really what left me irritated. If I'm willing to walk away from “I can see if I can find some laying around if you like,” it is clear my concern wasn't about a free keychain. I could care less about the keychain but if I'm paying $27 a pop for a lip stain that comes with a promised key chain, I'm damn well going to ask about the keychain. Had I been told accurately the first time that the key chain only came with one color and that they were unfortunately out of that color too, It would have been fine. I would have still purchased the stain because I liked the color. It was the consistent inaccurate information I was being told. Anyway, if you have a complaint or constructive criticism that could actually be acted on, don't expect management to take you seriously because your concern doesn't matter to them.

So online it does say closes at 8 but didn’t check that until after, because walking up on the window it says 9 and the doors were already locked at 8:05. Slightly frustrating, keep your information consistent and fix the front sign. I’ve been in here a few times and it does seem like they’re having problems keeping things in stock so not sure what’s up with this location, seems like it might be struggling.

My always #1 store to go for makeup is Ulta every where I lived, and this one is not different than any other, all have the good vibes and friendly staff. I recently had a root color and a bang in the salon, both less than $100, and I really want to thank Kathy for her super professional work, she was amazing and gave me the best hair bath in my life ? it was a therapy believe me ☺️. Will back in September to get full hair color that matches fall vibes?

My experience with this was interesting I was looking at the perfume section and needed someone to unlock it. As I’m looking for someone to help me an associate comes up and says “make your way to the Register we are closing in a minute” I said ok can you unlock the perfume so I have an item to take to the register. The amount of disgust she had when she was attempting to remove the product was insane. When I made it to the register I asked her if I had point rewards she said “no” looked at my receipt and there is $17 hmmm. Customer service isn’t good at all and I knew what I wanted. I was at the register before the rest of the store. I think I’ll just keep my business at Sephora they make you feel like a wanted customer no matter what time it is.
