Majority of employees inconsiderate, not helpful. Store shelves never stocked, employees not doing much but on cell phones. Employee shoppers always in the way of customers. Have been in other Walmarts, this one, one of the worst.

When out in the Shenandoah Valley, this Walmart has just about everything you could ever think of. The "people of Walmart," made famous by the comedy site aren't here. Rather it's nice folks, from local communities who are far kinder than the ones closer into DC. There's nothing more I like than this region of Virginia. Whether camping, hunting, fishing, or renting a cabin I'm happy here. This Walmart is an all in one grocery store, with a whole host of other items. It's far cleaner and more organized than the city ones, although pricing on groceries here can be hit or miss. Be sure to shop around, although admittedly there's less competition in these parts. Like other Walmart stores, you can also get fishing supplIes, and if you forgot socks or underwear you're in luck. The lines here can be maddening. This is a regular problem company wide. As for employees, they seem to have enough in the various departments. I've found them helpful. Obviously with the stores size you'll get your steps in. If in the area it's all purpose.

Not a very well stocked store. There isles stay slightly stocked half the time. Hard to find items. Store needs some big improvements

This location is handy when I am visiting family. There are other supercenters that have better inventory. I haven't had issues with crowds or lack of help.

Sure, it's a shitty corporation- it hurts local small businesses. They average 5k lawsuits a year from their employees. Poor healthcare; I could go on and on, but let's face it- this is where most people go to shop around here. I'm just as guilty, as I don't know the last time I was home and didn't make a trip to Walmart. You can get good deals on practically everything. Although I wouldn't purchase expensive electronics here, as it's been proven that they come from a separate, lower quality factory, than those of the same brand sold elsewhere. Produce is fresh and their meat department is above par. They've also started to incorporate a decent sized craft beer section. Even the Walmart generic brand is pretty good. As much as I hate to admit it, it's a great place to procure whatever you may need, in a small rural area, with not a lot of other options. Or if you're just bored and need a trip down memory lane, you're bound to bump into someone from your past, and relive all those small talk joys...
