2 years ago, I got a huge l-shaped desk and A chair for like 20 bucks.... Good quality furniture. It was well worth the 30-minute drive from hillsville. I would definitely like to return to look for things for my classroom.

I have gotten numerous good deals here. I go here quite often. You just walk in & look. Sometimes it's exactly what you need. I didn't want to pay walmart $10 for a neckpillow. I got 2 neckpillows here for $1. I have gotten office chairs $2 ea. A beautiful lamp for $5. & the people who work there are very nice & genuine.

All sales are final. no returns. But the prices are worth it. Located on the plaza behind the old Long John Silvers restaraunt just down the road from Wytheville Community College.

All sales are final. no returns. But the prices are worth it. Located on the plaza behind the old Long John Silvers restaraunt just down the road from Wytheville Community College. I needed an office chair and a chair for physical therapy. My Physical therapist told me about the department of General Services surplus store in Wytheville suggesting that I try it. Since I have a tendency to break office chairs and don't want to hace to pay hundreds of dollars for something that's just going to break I decided to visit. I am glad I did. First off the store is no frills. don't go if you expect department store luxury. they have used products for great prices. they have some suits and clothing but mostly office furniture books shelves and occasionally medical equipment such as hospital beds. The prices on the chairs range from 50 cents to 40 dollars. I bought a basic chair for physical therapy for 50 cents, and a sturdy, no frills office chair for 5 dollars, that's in surprisingly good condition, save a small blemish in the fabric. Not everything is perfect but you can see for yourself. if you are will to be a little patient and take a good look at the merchandise, you can almost certainly find a really good deal
