Across all of the Flying J's I've come across this is by far one of my favorites. Bathrooms are always in tip-top shape, the food is actually good here, and the staff is super helpful and friendly, especially Marybeth. She goes the extra mile and you can tell she cares about her store and her customers. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

While traveling through Virginia on 181, left 81 at exit 213 into route 11. Stopped at the Pilot Flying J there. People in the store area were rude. Chester's fried chicken is usually good so requested two pieces. Paid 1.99 per piece but the pieces were extremely tiny and apparently sat under the light for way too long. Could not chew through the chicken- it was tough and totally dried out! Each piece was about the quarter of the size of a normal chicken leg! Realizing that I could not eat the chicken, I went over to the attached Arby's. Ordered a Greek gyro. Also was not able to eat it! Meat was old. lettuce taste was bad and tossed the sandwich too! At least the Arbys employees were nice. Gave the chicken back to the store and walked out. Lost 10.00 on that terrible meal. Avoid this Pilot Flying J!!! The management is awful!!

Stopped here for dinner & arrived at entrance where a sign at open to restaurant stated they only had 2 servers & 1 cook and apologizing for the inconvenience. We were seated and the waitress gave us a few minutes to review the menu. Ordered Grand Slams & orange juice. Orange juice came out watery & she apologized as the machine ran out of mix & they were thawing more out. We passed. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time & it was hot. However, had to ask for silverware & napkins in order to eat. Understand being short staffed but providing the basic essentials to a customer should be a given.

Great customer service! We stopped for fuel; we are full time RVers. We also used the free RV dump station. Thank you! As we were getting ready to leave we noticed something seriously awry with our tow mechanism. We went inside to ask for any possibilities for repair. Ricky pulled a business card out of his pocket and offered it to us. We copied the name, also Ricky, and the phone #. After calling the Ricky on the card we went to his place of business. They were very helpful though unable to fix the problem . David was able to make every thing secure on our vehicles so we could get to our final destination. Without Both Ricky's I don't know where we would be. Thank you!

This flying J truck stop is pretty decent, nothing too spectacular but just good enough from the food to the showers and definitely can't forget about the employees.

Stopped on way through to NY. OMG! Frightening things going on with truckers. No lie... saw naked bodies in a truck that was stuck at the entrance. Apparently the driver turned in by Wendy's and got hung up on the curb, scraping and grinding the tires. This called our attention to the situation and that's when we saw the in-cab party goers. A pretty creepy sight! GAAAAAH!

Easy off and on the highway. Plenty of room to get in and out with the RV while towing, although really only one lane for RV gas filling. We did also fill our propane tank here. They were quick and attentive.

Having two dedicated pumps for RV use only is great, but this is the 2nd time this year we haven't been able to get propane because of 'call-offs'.

I went in here to get some food, they had hot food ready to eat I asked for some Pot Roast which I thought was pretty pricey $6.99 and I was thinking you got sides to go with but that was an extra $3. So I got the pot roast by itself and it came to $7.29 which was not worth the money.
