“The Gallery at York Hall is a haven for art. It features the creations of over 300 local artists. The work displayed there covers a wide range of mediums from hand made jewelry, to fiber and fine art and everything in between. It's located just above the York River on historic Main Street in Yorktown. There's plenty off street parking nearby or you can take the free trolley there that runs continually during the day. It's a gem!The Yorktown History Museum is in the basement of the building and is also worth visiting.”

“Been coming here for a number years now and I'm amazed by some of the local artists work here on display. Was particularly interested in some stain glass works I purchased here before. But alas their was none available.”

“I needed a very last minute engraving done on a Saturday, and Deb's was the only shop that was able to fulfill my request.Deb was super helpful with spitballing dome ideas to make it look even better, and was very courteous. Would recommend Debs 10 out of 10 times.”

“What a nice shop. Very nice colonial period artwork and reproductions. Lot's of other items that you want to buy. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the owner is usually on site most days with her two friendly black labs that greet visitors at the door when you come in. They also have done some excellent framing for me with great attention to detail. This is custom work, not one of those "slap together' frame shops. Their framing is done to protect the artwork and will last several lifetimes.”

“After the Harvest Festival, we checked out Auntie M's American Cottage, a gift shop that sells locally crafted gifts. This includes scented soaps, needle felting kits, fused glass ornaments, wind chimes, recycled wool flowers, picture frames, oyster ornaments, cork reindeers, mermaid bookmarks, children's books, prints, trinket dishes, cork leather bags, pottery, jewelry, coffee, soup mixes, and more. I ended up getting a nutcracker print on an oyster ornament and Virginia state shaped necklace!”
