Some stuff are at bargain price and some are over priced. I really like the unique selection of items for sale tho. My biggest issue was being super rushed out of the store at closing. After putting my purchases in my vehicle the time was 8:09pm. They close at 8pm, 2 employees (1 is the manager, I think) started to rush me at 730ish, and I mean on my case. At the register, rushed through my payment and basically pushed me out the door. I get it, but I wanted to mention, that left me not wanting to come back. I had a new job the next day that needed supplies and I wasnt able to get them. Disappointing, I was enjoying my shopping experience until that. :(

2 employees on the sales floor. 1 putting away stock
The 2nd has to be called by a full line of customers to check out. No self checkout open. When the delivery man came in, he asked the cashier for help. He laughed at him & Said that the staff was all in the back store room. He did not call for assistance. Instead the delivery man just stood there. The store was a disorganized dirty mess.

I have placed two online orders from the store on Denbigh in Yorktown. Both have been cancelled. The things I ordered showed that all items were in stock and plenty of them at that. So why is my orders canceled? Are the employees that lazy? I placed it last night and picked my pickup time to be between 3-4pm next day. That’s plenty of time! Now I’m having to head to the store to go isle by isle to get my items. Very frustrated and probably will not use Dollar General in the future.

I would give a 5 star i shop here all the time but wont come back after i went by today 3/16/22 around 11am with my 6 week old puppy to get her first collor as soon as i came thru the door the man refused service to us and said to leave never have i ever been turned down anywhere for bringing in a little puppy like that she can barely walk none the less do anything to your establishment
