Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, a nonprofit organization serving local communities since 1923, is dedicated to changing lives through the power of work. By donating, shopping, or exploring job opportunities, individuals can support essential job training and employment services for people facing barriers to work. The Yorktown location offers a great selection of women's clothes, often with brand name items and tags still attached. However, the housewares and book sections have been lacking in recent years. Customers have found the organization by size rather than color could improve their shopping experience. Shoppers and donors have had positive experiences at this Goodwill location, with staff like Martinez and Loretta providing excellent customer service. The clothes selection and variety are especially good compared to other locations. While some items may be considered pricey for second-hand goods, the store is well-organized and clean, making it a popular stop for those traveling to Virginia Beach. Overall, Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is a valuable community resource, offering opportunities for both shopping and donating to support its mission of empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building prosperous communities.
Occasionally overwhelmed staff. Small pull-up area and some rush to offload donations, considerable size for sale.

Huge and tons of wonderful items for wonderful prices. Best goodwill I've ever been to

Standard Goodwill. Clothes are organized by size and color. Overall, the store could be cleaner. The color which is on sale never seems to be on the shelves -- even on the first day of the sales at opening.
