I took my son today for contacts and we had a great experience. The staff was amazing. They spent a lot of time making sure he had the correct contacts and that he was good to go. It’s nice to go somewhere and not feel rushed and like just another person. Our doctor was very friendly and enjoys his job. Thank you again!

This location has Tel-health Which means another doctor gets on a screen to do your eye exam but to do this eye exam they require a retinal exam which is another $40. If you refuse, they won’t do the exam. They’re forcing a retinal exam on you at that cost to pay for the Tele doctor, which is in my opinion against the law And if you don’t agree to the retinal exam, they won’t do the exam. Insurance companies don’t pay this fee so it’s a markup for them to push to make more money. The one lady I was dealing with, tried to explain it, but still was very rude and when I asked to talk to someone more in charge, she got very irate. Not very customer friendly at all just pay what we tell you to pay or leave

Trashy. I had been to a MyEyeDr before at a different location and had a great experience. I made an appointment at this location and absolutely regretted it. The little girl at the desk is rude as hell. I apparently missed a disclaimer on the web site that states that coming to this place requires a retinal scan not covered by my insurance. My copay for an eye examine is $10, but this child tells me at check in that my exam is going to be $49.95. It wasn’t the information that was communicated, but the way it was communicated that rubbed me the wrong way. I now understand why the waiting room was empty. I decided to go elsewhere.

Easy eye exam, first time doing it with a virtual doctor.people are very helpful with the glasses selection let's you try on everything and help you when you are ready.

I was there this morning Dec 28th. First time at this location. Was basically told I can’t see jack. My words. I already knew that. I can’t remember any names but this location was very friendly and the dr took her time during my eye exam. Can’t wait to get my glasses. Even though I was told when I walked in that they were short staffed, I was seen in a timely manner. Will definitely make this my permanent location.

AVOID THIS LOCATION! Made an appointment via telehealth (knew that going into it), showed up on my appointment time for the person at the front desk to let me know there internet has been down and they need to reschedule me. They had plenty of opportunities to call me and let me know this but they waited until I physically showed up to tell me to reschedule. This is the 2nd time we have had a massive issue with communication at this location and we will never be back. Stanton Eye was able to get me in 15 minutes later and I was done 30 minutes after that. Will recommend Staton Eye AND DO NOT RECOMMEND MYEYEDR

Both sides were short of people.Went to see if I can exchange my glasses because I didn't like them.Didn't know it was a policy after 30 days you can exchange.The manager and worker was very rude unprofessional.Will get my eye exam there and that's it.I usually get my glasses there but this will be my last time.

Terrible experience. Waited over an hour in the lobby.. I understand things happen but I was the only one and nobody communicated with me or apologized for the wait. Staff was talking about other patients in front of me. I booked my appointment online and there was no indication it would be a virtual visit. It wasn’t even a virtual visit with the doctor I booked with and nobody acknowledged that either. The virtual doctor spent 30 seconds with me. Will NOT be coming back. They’ve severely gone downhill since switching to MyEyeDr.

I gave you another chance, and you blew it.
I scheduled an exam here after being seen at the Denbigh location last October and having… not a great time (that review is public too!). I should note that I am transgender. Turns out this was a remote eye exam which I now have mixed feelings about. When I got there and started filling out the paperwork, they somehow got my gender as female (good) but not that my name is Zo (bad). How do you only get half that information? This led to being deadnamed and misgendered the entire time I was there. Everything went ok until the refraction, where the device thingy that goes over your eyes and tells them your prescription was too narrow for my face. The person physically with me was like “yeah can you spread them apart?” and the remote person said “I need you to tell me which one to move” when the solution was to move both… Also when I didn’t say just “2” for one part of this he said “I need you to tell me 1 or 2” even though I’d said “2”… Overall this has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will be steering all my trans friends away from MyEyeDr entirely and finding someone who actually values their patients.
