Ashley the manager in Yorktown is amazing! Very professional, polite and knowledgeable of her facility. She was welcoming with a warm smile and she did not stop until she knew I was comfortable with securing my storage unit on my own. Great staff and excellent service!

Ashley has always been very professional and kind. She remembered a personal specific detail and asked how everything is going, and you could sense it was sincere and not just to be courteous. The property has always been clean and well lit.

We have been using Ocean storage for more than two years. It is always spotlessly clean. When we have needed help with anything Ashley has cheerfully responded! We saw other storage facilities before we chose ocean storage, and this facility in Yorktown won hands down! When my wife Kathy needs information or help, Ashley cheerfully responds! We highly recommend Ocean STORAGE at Yorktown!

Ashley was and is HANDS DOWN THE SWEETEST most helpful person I’ve met. I am in the middle of preparing for an upcoming deployment and she helped me big time , was very thorough with providing information and found the best rate for my unit. It was a pleasure meeting her 💕!!

My experience with Ocean Storage was great! It was my second time using this storage facility and it’s still great as I remember! When our lock wasn’t fully secure, the employees at Ocean storage contacted me and let me know.

Great overall facility. However, I wanted to share my disappointment regarding our recent experience during our 18-month stay with your company. Throughout our time renting, we were never late on payments, yet the frequent price increases felt unjustifiable—especially when we noticed the same units being offered to new customers at lower rates. You would think keeping loyal customers happy would be a priority.
When I reached out about these increases, Ashley told me she would look into it but never followed up with me. Additionally, when we called on 7/28 to inform you that we were moving out on 8/9–we were told you do not prorate months. The gentleman I spoke with even advised that I could still move out and simply remove my lock. Because of this, we left our lock in place until 8/29; frankly, it felt like removing it earlier would have only allowed you to rent the unit to someone else while still charging us for the full month.
I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, but this experience made us feel undervalued as customers. If we ever need storage again, we’ll be looking elsewhere for a company that values long-term customers and focuses on fairness rather than profit alone.
