The Market Place is a health food store and true gem in Aberdeen. It is a bright and clean shop with plenty of parking. The store has an absolute ton of bulk goods, including seeds, grains, spices, and an incredible selection of flour and ingredients. It features a wall of tea and is the go-to place for essential oils, fresh herbs, and items for herbalism. The stock is proficient for those who cook foreign dishes or "food projects," with basics for Indian, Thai, Japanese, and Korean food, along with items like black wild rice and gluten-free baking supplies. They also have an extensive line of plant-based dairy products, goats milk based cheese, tasty organic produce, and fresh made peanut butter. The employees are super helpful and knowledgeable. Prices can be a bit higher than other stores, but they are for different branded and better quality products.
