Acme General Store is a must-have, friendly, and welcoming little store for the small town of Acme, contributing greatly to the town's comfortable and special character. The nice building has charming character. It is a lovely place to stop, known for having the most amazing biscuits and an impressive selection of beers, including hard-to-find ones. The staff are generally described as super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A resident dog adds to the charm. The store is also noted as a helpful stop for travelers, providing needed items and restroom access. However, a significant negative experience was reported with "The bowl maker" coffee mugs sold there. A customer found these beautiful mugs to be very cheaply made, cracking after normal use within months. The initial response from a manager to the complaint was unsatisfactory, suggesting customer fault. The situation was later rectified after the message was passed to the artist, who stands by her product. Potential buyers should be aware before purchasing these mugs for hot liquids.

I love this store. Such a cool place. My kid got his picture with Santa, for free. It hangs on our fridge.

Just a great store run by a cool young man and his GF and dog. This is has a little bit of everything and then some. Great little emergency hardware store and grocery. Sure, you'll pay more but it's for a reason and that's cause it's worth it having saved a drive to town. Keep up the good work acme general.
