Went in to check out a car I am in the market for. I was greeted immediately by a sales rep named Tony (he was awesome btw). Tony gave me all the info I needed and was very polite and welcoming. I was excited about potentially purchasing a car from him. I Checked out the car and asked for a test drive and was told no test drive unless a deal is worked out for this specific car. I thought that was odd and I stated I DO NOT want to run my credit without a test drive. Then we proceeded to talk numbers so I can get to the test drive. We made it clear that I have excellent credit and was very upfront and said I want to get this done as easy and fast as possible. After 2 offers, the owner came out. He approached me in the worst way possible. He said he doesn’t want to go back and forth unless he runs my credit, that he’s doesn’t even know if I can purchase the car and that he didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving the car out the sales floor for a test drive if he hasn’t run my credit. He mentioned the vehicle has low miles and wants to keep it that way. Which I understand but I’m sure a 5 miles test won’t do any hurt. Anyways, he also said that he personally wouldn’t ask for a test drive unless he has ran his personal credit first. I told him I’m gonna protect myself and that I need to test drive before I commit to fulling purchasing a car. The owner declined and so he lost the easiest walk up sale for Tony. I even showed Tony my credit to show him I’m not on any BS. Tony was going to talk to the owner but I told him don’t worry about it, the owner’s attitude lost the sale for you and thanked Tony for his time and I walked out.
I just find it very odd that I was able to test drive a 2022 Mercedes Benz AMG @ Mercedes without a credit check (which I actually bought and drove to this dealership btw). Actually, all my cars I’ve ever purchased I was able to test drive without running my credit. Guess the owner thinks he’s just that special.

Mike is absolutely amazing he worked so hard everyday for a week to help me get my first buyers dream car. I appreciate him so much and i highly recommend him to anyone who wants an amazing deal and an amazing sales person who wont give you the run around. 5 stars for a reason!!!!

I was looking for a car for weeks , ever since my car broke down, decided to upgrade to a family car since having 1 kid turned into 3. Saw Tyler post cars on Facebook marketplace, so I messaged him where I stated I was looking for low miles, family car within my budget, Tyler gave me an option of a 2016 dodge journey but he also kept my option open. We set up a day so I can test drive the car, and I wanted to keep my options open, he wasn’t pushy whatsoever. We did a test drive, we liked the car, and in 2 days we drove off with the car (: Tyler made the process super easy && was super quick with answering questions about the car, at first I was hesitant about purchasing a car at a dealership because of the bad reviews from outside people about cars from dealerships, but Tyler offered to show me carfax of the car and others I was interested in; which made me more confident in searching for a car at this dealership! If you guys ever need to look into a car within your budget, go with TYLER super helpful , and professional. Definitely coming back in the future to purchase another car (:

The people here are super helpful and amazing. I first called to ask about a Honda Element I saw on their FB listing and called right away. Tyler Hap was super helpful with giving me information and helping me every single step of the way until we got to doing the financing part of things. I was super interested in the car and two days later I drove off in the car I wanted. They were very honest people and I was in and out in an hour. Shortest amount of time I spent purchasing a car from anywhere with very friendly people. 10/10 recommend purchasing from them if you’re in the market for a used car.

DO NOT buy a car or Truck from this dealership. They completely lied and misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and did not follow through with any of the items they agreed to perform. It is a stereotypical shady used car dealership that will lie and falsify information to sell u a lemon.

We greatly appreciate the friendly, courteous and respectful environment at Sunset Cars Select in Auburn. I am glad that I got to work with Mike and Tyler, who coordinated for me to test drive the 2015 Honda Civic that I saw online. The Carfax report was readily available, and I had the vehicle inspected at Central Automotive, just 3 miles north of Sunset Cars. Overall, I was extremely pleased with everyone I encountered. Thank you very much to the whole team - including the company owner, Brian, and the Finance guy, DJ. I appreciate your teamwork in making the purchase transaction, a smooth and speedy one.

Brought a 2012 Toyota Camry from Tyler be honest wasn't sure if I wanted to get the car right away and I wanted to see my other options Tyler wasn't pushy at all or upset that I wanted to browse my other options. Super easy and clean process wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Also coming from Mechanic the car is very well inspected and cared for not your average dealership where they buy cars and push it out to the lot! 10/10 would come back for another purchase!!

When this was Mathew motors LLC, they sold me a lemon. The engine blew up on me 6 weeks after I bought it, and the suspension was bad. They also didn’t tell me that there was an open recall on the airbags of the car I bought. So when I totaled the car after fishtailing on rainy roads due to bad suspension, the airbags didn’t deploy. Thank goodness I was unharmed. It could’ve been very different and I could’ve lost my life due to driving the death trap they so happily sold me. I don’t know about these new guys now that they’ve changed their name, maybe Matthew motors went out of business. Not sure. But thought I’d update my review. I’d give 0 stars to Matthew motors if I could.
