Fabric Plus is a fabric store located in downtown Anacortes. The shop is known for having a lot of supplies, fabric, and related items of every description. It stocks a tremendous variety, including quilting fabric, soft blanketing material, wool suiting, canvas, cotton, knits, coated vinyl, blends, and modern prints from lines like Cotton+Steel and Dear Stella. It also carries a wide array of other items like thread, DMC, ribbon, fat quarters, jelly rolls, buttons, snaps, batting, binding, patterns, craft supplies, pillow forms, scissors, and all sorts of trims and gadgets. The store is described as colorful but very cluttered and chaotic, with lots of handwritten signs and fabric stored horizontally. It is crowded with inventory, creating a fun environment to browse and find both what you need and what you didn't know you needed. The staff are consistently noted as being incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and special. While the aesthetic is not modern, the shop is well-maintained and offers good quality fabric in every color and style imaginable, from whales and foxes to gingham and polka dots. Customers find it a great place for any sewing project and report that parking is easy. Many express that it is a beloved store where you won't leave empty-handed.
Crowded, yes. All the more to choose from. While hours were shortened during Covid and staff shortages, I find the owner and staff to be unfailingly helpful and courteous. When I have had special requests(as when making decorations for a wedding), they have accommodated those very well.

Interesting shop with tons of fabric and related items. Very helpful and friendly staff,! If you are looking for a sewing project this is the place to go.
