This store doesn’t win any aesthetic awards, but it has a lot of supplies. The fabric and shop are very cluttered and chaotic, there are lots of handwritten signs, and most of the fabric is stored horizontally rather than displayed for good visibility. This store doesn’t really have “modern” fabric, but lots of “grandma” fabric. This store is like a tiny Joann supply-wise, but also like that mess-wise. They stock thread, DMC, ribbon by the yard, some fat quarters, buttons and snaps, batting, patterns, knits, canvas, coated vinyl, various scissors, craft supplies, pillow forms, etc.

Despite what Google says, according to the handwritten sign on the door this store now closes at 3:00. They should update their hours on Google. We wasted a trip hoping to check out the supposed 365 Kona colors. Very disappointing.

Great fabric store with lots of options! I didn't have time to explore the whole thing, but I found a couple cute prints from Cotton+Steel and Dear Stella that will be perfect for my current project. I liked how the fabrics were organized in categories/themes in the area that I was looking. The woman working the day I went was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the fabric available.

Lovely little fabric store in downtown Anacortes. Parking was actually really easy. They have a lot of quilting fabric but they also had a good selection of soft blanketing material. I also saw a really excellent selection of panels and there was some lovely wool suiting.

fabrics plus. the absolutely best place to get fabrics of every description, from canvas to cotton, blends, fat quarters, jelly rolls, yardage, good sales, all sortso f trims, threads, and all the gadgets a gal or guy could want. And the service is special. I walk in to a colorful, well maintained shop with good quality fabric. every color and style a person could want. If you want a fabric with whales, they have iti, foxes, Sure right here. gingham, plaid, polka dots, terrific teals, pretty pinks, roaring reds. and that strange color of blue you just can't seem to find.... they have it. and batting, binding, ribbons, baby fabric, buttons, bows and bright ideas. even patterns. Next time you are in Anacortes, take the time to brouse Fabrics Plus, you won't leave empty handed. A great idea for a craft is waiting for you there.

I used to live in Anacortes (moved in 2018 to Louisiana) and I miss this store so much! It was my favorite fabric store ever. It is crowded with so many different fabrics. So fun to look around and find what you need and/or find what you didn’t know you need! They always have super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I really do miss shopping there. I hope they never close so if I’m able to ever get back to Washington I’ll be able to come in again.

They have sign up for wearing mask if you have them. I didn't. I wasn't even acknowledged in the store! Person came in behind me wearing mask and was greeted. I even passed an employee while looking around, she never even acknowledged me. I'll save my money for another quilt store.

fabrics plus is a gem set in the middle of town. quilters, tailors, sewers, hobbyist, kids, they have something you would like. A rainbow of every beautiful quilting fabric covers one entire wall, with shelves of fabric everywhere. thread? Yep , good quality. a clearance shelf, batting, silks, rayon, felt, embroidery thread, tools, patterns, fat quarters. It is like a candy shop in there. I never leave without ideas in my head and colorful fabric in my bag. I love it. and they have things like buttons, and baby fabrics, panels, make a plan to come and have lunch in Anacortes and get your colorful fabric deserts at Fabrics Plus.

Crowded, yes. All the more to choose from. While hours were shortened during Covid and staff shortages, I find the owner and staff to be unfailingly helpful and courteous. When I have had special requests(as when making decorations for a wedding), they have accommodated those very well.

This little shop is packed with everything a sewist might want, whether they are quilting, repairing, designing or making clothing, projects or gifts. The staff are very helpful. There are lots of tools, fun kid fabrics and nautical ones. It is also a Covid safe location. Mask up and stay healthy while shopping.

Masks required today. No other store in Anacortes is requiring them. The lady working there was behind a huge plexiglass shield and had a mask on so why do customers need one? A lady walking up to the store at the same time as me wouldn’t even go in because they require a mask. If I hadn’t needed a piece to finish a project, I wouldn’t have gone in either. So I bought the cheapest piece I could find. Definitely losing business. I usually spend over $100 each time I go fabric shopping. So disappointing ☹️
